On Monday, October 11, 2021 at approximately 1123 hours, I was dispatched to [10 BLOCK] Jordan Road located in Cartersville, Georgia in reference to a domestic that just occurred.
Upon arrival I met with the victim [VICTIM #1] who stated her boyfriend Cody and her were in a verbal dispute that ended in property damage. [VICTIM #1] stated her and Cody had been arguing and he became angry when she told him to leave the residence. [VICTIM #1] stated Cody has a history of using methamphetameme and drinking. Today [VICTIM #1] stated he hadn’t been drinking, but didn’t know if he was under the influence of drugs or not. [VICTIM #1] stated they have been together on and off for four years. With Cody yelling at her, she didn’t want their kids to hear that and see it so that’s why she wanted him to leave.
Cody did in fact leave the scene prior to my arrival. I attempted to call Cody to get his side of the story, but the phone number would not go through. Based on the physical and testimonial evidence, a warrant was taken for Criminal Trespass- Damage to Property (FVA) pending an arrest.
