On Sunday, December 14, 2025 at approximately 0025 hours, I responded to [40 BLOCK] Mockingbird Drive, Cartersville in reference to shots fired. While enroute we were informed a gray colored sport utility vehicle had driven into the neighborhood and the driver had shot several shots from the vehicle, then fled.

While responding to the area, I did not see any gray colored SUV on the roadway. Upon arrival, I made contact with the caller who stated the same to me as she had to Bartow 911. I then reviewed the footage from The caller’s security camera.

I observed a grayish possible blue midsize SUV entered the area at 2355 hours, (per timestamp). The vehicle pulled into a parking space in front of apartment [REDACTED], then immediately reversed out and stopped in the area of [REDACTED] at 2356. The vehicle then sat for several minutes before rolling the drivers side window down and discharging four shots into the air as 2359 hours. The vehicle then fled the area and out of view. No tag could be observed on the footage at this time.

The parking lot was searched and no casings were discovered, meaning the firearm was either a revolver or all of the casings ejected into the vehicle. No damage was observed to the buildings or vehicles in the area.

The Caller was provided a Polaris link for the security footage and a case card. The Caller reported no knowledge of any issues with any neighbors.

Other Officers present included Lt. B.Y. Cole and Ofc. Brock.
