On November 04, 2024 (Monday) I met with [WITNESS #1] in reference to a child molestation report.

[WITNESS #1] stated over the weekend his grand daughter / [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (15 YO) was staying with him for the weekend at his residence in Dalton, GA.

He stated while [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was there she got in trouble and so he took her phone from her. [WITNESS #1] advised on November 03, 204 (Sunday) [REDACTED BY AGENCY] mother / Ashley Oliver came to pick her up and went through [REDACTED BY AGENCY] phone and discovered where [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had been sending inappropriate messages to several males through (SNAPCHAT APP), and the males appeared to be adults. He also stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] sister / [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised him that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] admitted to having sex with an older male(s) at some point.

[WITNESS #1] advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Ashley ended up getting into an argument and a fight eventually broke out. At that time Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office was contacted for that incident (unknown case #). During the incident Ashley ended up being arrested for a warrant, and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] phone was left with [WITNESS #1] per her request. Whitfield County advised [WITNESS #1] to bring the phone to Bartow due to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] living in Bartow during the alleged incident.

At this time Ashley is not present to give permission for the phone to be turned over to be search. I advised [WITNESS #1] to hold onto the phone if that is what Ashley wants him to do and then have her bring it to us when she can.
