On July 4th, 2024 at 1726 hours I was dispatched to 556 Hardin Bridge Rd Kingston, GA 30145 in reference to a fight on the river.
On scene I spoke with [VICTIM #1], she told me that while floating on the river she got into an argument with her boyfriend, Donald Taylor, who she lives with. She said that during this argument Donald struck her in the head with a paddle. [VICTIM #1] refused EMS and I was unable to see any viable injuries on [VICTIM #1].
[VICTIM #1]’s son [WITNESS #1] was down river and said that he saw Donald swing the paddle at [VICTIM #1]. Donald was not on scene.
While speaking with [VICTIM #1] she gave me two different birthdays for Donald. At this time I am unable to locate correct information on Donald to secure a warrant. I attempted to make contact with [VICTIM #1] again but was unable too. This incident occurred an hour or two prior to making contact.
