On 9/3/2025, I was dispatched to [20 BLOCK] Waters Edge Dr., Acworth, Georgia, 30101 in reference to a domestic dispute.

Upon arrival, I spoke with Eric McMillan, who kept asking if he was going to the hospital again. Eric wouldn’t give much information about what occurred. Eric later said he did attempt to throw a picture at his brother [VICTIM #1]’s head, but didn’t. Eric stated he attacked his dad twice this year, but was sorry. Eric said he threw glass at his dad and tried to hurt him.

I spoke with Eric’s aunt, [VICTIM #2], who lives at the same residence. [VICTIM #2] said Eric got mad because his mom, [VICTIM #3], was in her room talking to his brother [VICTIM #1], and he was told to hang on, that they would talk to him later. [VICTIM #2] then said Eric’s father, [VICTIM #4], came upstairs. [VICTIM #2] stated Eric started to attack his father. [VICTIM #2] stated Eric pushed a glass cabinet with glass china inside over onto [VICTIM #4], causing it and the glass china inside to break over the kitchen floor. I noticed a laceration and swelling on the right side of [VICTIM #2]’s forehead. I asked [VICTIM #2] if it was due to the altercation, and she stated it was, and it was due to the china cabinet hitting her as well while she was trying to break up the fight.

Deputy Hall spoke with [VICTIM #3], who stated that this all started because she and [VICTIM #1] were in her room talking, and Eric tried to interrupt. [VICTIM #3] told Eric to hold on a minute, and he got upset. [VICTIM #3] said Eric tried to throw a picture at [VICTIM #1]’s head by taking one off the wall and raising it back like he was going to throw it, but she stopped him. [VICTIM #3] said Eric has been kind of belligerent the last few days. [VICTIM #3] said she wasn’t sure if it was his medicine or not. [VICTIM #3] said she wasn’t inside during most of the altercation, and she and [VICTIM #1] went outside to calm [VICTIM #1] down.

Deputy John Hall spoke with [VICTIM #4], who stated that Eric tore into him and beat him. [VICTIM #4] was bleeding from his right ear and had two lacerations on his back. [VICTIM #4] said Eric was throwing glass at him and hitting him. Eric stated that it was thousands of dollars’ worth of glass in the cabinet that broke. [VICTIM #4] stated he was standing in front of the glass cabinet when Eric turned it on him.

Deputy Hall spoke with [VICTIM #1], who stated he was afraid Eric was going to kill his family. [VICTIM #1] said Eric tried to throw a picture at him, but didn’t.

Pictures of [VICTIM #4]’s injuries were taken on Deputy Hall’s department-issued body camera. Pictures of [VICTIM #2]’s injuries and the damage to the glass and glass cabinet were taken on my department-issued body camera.

Eric was placed in handcuffs and arrested for 2 counts of aggravated assault FVA, 2 counts of battery FVA, 1 count of simple assault FVA, and one count of damage to property 2nd FVA. Eric was placed in the back seat of the patrol vehicle. The family was advised about the victim’s assistance program. Eric was then transported to the Bartow County Jail and turned over to the jail staff with no incident.
