On Wednesday March 30, 2022 at 1443 hours I was dispatched to 104 Zena Drive, in reference to a Child Abuse report at [5100 BLOCK] King Camp Road.
I was informed to contact Detective Virginia Duncan with Cobb County, in reference to the call. I made Contact with Detective Duncan, and she informed me she was working a child abuse case, that involved a forensic interview, and upon further knowledge she found out the offense occurred at [5100 BLOCK] Kings Camp Road.
Detective Duncan informed me the suspect in the case is Hannah Talbot, the stepmother to the listed juvenile. She informed me there are photographs of the juveniles back and rear end where Hannah spanked the juvenile with a belt. She stated there was bruising to the child.
[REDACTED], the juvenile’s father is currently married to Hannah at [5100 BLOCK] Kings Camp Road.
Detective Duncan informed me the juvenile is with his mother, [REDACTED], in Cobb County.
I asked Detective Duncan if a DFACS referral was made and she confirmed there was one.
I contacted Investigator Abernathy, and informed him of the case, and I gave him Detective Duncan’s contact information to follow up with the case.
