On 7/3/2026 at 1842 hrs, I was dispatched to [600 BLOCK] Keswick Ln. Apt [REDACTED] for Hunter Broadwater sitting on [VICTIM #1]’s driveway. I was at the address earlier for Hunter beating on the front door and rear window of the apartment. He was telling [VICTIM #1] to come outside and handle this like a man.
The altercation started about Hunter’s dog being off leash and [VICTIM #1] sending a picture of it to the property management. Hunter said he had been drinking and was thinking that law enforcement was called about the dog being off the leash. The first time I was called there, [VICTIM #1] declined a report. This time Hunter escalated the situation when he decided to sit in [VICTIM #1]’s driveway. When I arrived, I saw Hunter sitting in the driveway. I asked him why he was sitting in [VICTIM #1]’s driveway and he said he was just sitting there. He also stated they called because the dog was off the leash and he said the dog did not hurt anyone and it is a nice dog. I asked him if the apartment complex had a rule about dogs being on a leash and he said there was. I told him they just reported it to the management, and they were not calling law enforcement about the dog, they were calling about his actions.
Hunter stood up and walked towards his residence. He was yelling obscenities and cussing towards [VICTIM #1] (who was inside) and at myself. I told him that he needed to go inside and stop causing disturbance. I also asked him if he knew what disorderly conduct is and he said he did and he has been arrested many times before for it. He went inside. I walked back towards my marked patrol vehicle. Hunter came back outside with his shirt off, and was yelling and cussing to the point that a few other residents started to come outside to see what the disturbance was.
I decided that Hunter was in violation of Georgia’s disorderly conduct law. I started to walk towards Hunter and told him to stop and come to me. He refused and retreated into his residence. I notified dispatch and Hunter was called out of his residence over PA system. He came outside and I placed him under arrest and handcuffed him behind his back and checked for proper fit and that the cuffs were doubled locked.
I placed him the rear seat of my patrol vehicle and transported him to the Bartow County Jail where he was booked in. Warrants were obtained for Hunter.
