CARTERSVILLE – The following narrative report was filed by the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office regarding the arrest of Charles William Leidner on a charge of Disorderly Conduct.

On July 01, 2020 at 1647 hours, I was dispatched to the area of I-75 and Glade Road Acworth, GA. 30102 in reference to a intoxicated person on the interstate.
Charles Leidner was walking down the interstate. He was walking southbound in the northbound emergency lane. He was dancing and listening to music on his phone while on the roadway.
Bartow County dispatch had multiple call of a male in the roadway causing traffic to slow down. He had a strong order of alcohol coming from his person. He stated he has been drinking.
I placed Charles under arrest for disorderly conduct and he was given a citation.
