On May 9th, 2026 at approximately 2227 I was dispatched to [700 BLOCK] Mountain Park Lane in reference to a sexual offense.

Upon my arrival I met with [VICTIM #1] and her cousin [WITNESS #1]. [VICTIM #1] said her and her sister, [VICTIM #2], had recently moved to this address and were having a party. [VICTIM #1] said one of the males at the party, Joseph Brauner, was intoxicated and making her uncomfortable. [VICTIM #1] said she went outside to sit in her vehicle and listen to music. Her cousin and sister briefly left the residence while she was outside. [VICTIM #1] said she had the vehicle door open and Joseph approached her. Joseph sat on the ledge of the door. [VICTIM #1] said Joseph then attempted to put his hand in her pants. [VICTIM #1] told him to stop and he leaned on [VICTIM #1] preventing her from exiting the vehicle. [WITNESS #1] returned to the residence at this point and witnessed the event.

I then spoke to [WITNESS #1]. He said he was returning from the store and saw Joseph attempting to put his hand down [VICTIM #1]’s pants. [WITNESS #1] said he then saw Joseph leaning on [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #1] said [VICTIM #1] was telling him to stop. [WITNESS #1] said he also witnessed Joseph touching [VICTIM #2]’s bottom.

I then spoke to [VICTIM #2]. [VICTIM #2] said they were all in the kitchen and Joseph grabbed her bottom without her consent. [VICTIM #2] and [VICTIM #1] have security cameras inside the residence and this event was on camera. [VICTIM #2] told Joseph to not touch her. [VICTIM #2] said that after the incident in the kitchen they all went outside. [VICTIM #2] said while they were outside Joseph attempted to grab her face and kiss her.

Lastly I spoke [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2]’s neighbors, [WITNESS #2] and [WITNESS #3]. [WITNESS #2] and [WITNESS #3] said they were outside and saw Joseph attempting to kiss [VICTIM #2]. They also said Joseph was yelling and appeared to be agitated.

Joseph refused to answer any questions about the incident. Based on testimonial evidence and video footage, Joseph was taken into custody and charged with two counts of sexual battery. Joseph was transported to the Bartow County Detention Center without incident. I sent [VICTIM #1] the citizen’s upload link to upload the security camera footage.
