On February 22nd, 2026 at approximately 15:34 hours, I responded to [10 BLOCK] Water’s View, Acworth GA in reference to a suspicious person.
Dispatch advised that the complainant stated a white male, wearing a gray hoodie, pulled into her driveway in a possible gray SUV with a handicap license plate.
I arrived on scene and met with the complainant/victim, [VICTIM #1], in her front yard at [10 BLOCK] Water’s View. [VICTIM #1] told me that the male had left, but she was pretty sure she knew who it was, but he arrived in a different car this date. [VICTIM #1] told me that the male is probably Julian Bateman (suspect). [VICTIM #1] told me that the male was wearing a gray hoodie, jeans, gloves, and a half mask over his face and just stood in her driveway. The vehicle she described him being in was a gray SUV with a handicap tag.
[VICTIM #1] stated that Julian did work on her and her boyfriend, [WITNESS #1]’s, house last year some time and they had paid him for all the work. [VICTIM #1] stated that they have not heard from Julian since. [VICTIM #1] stated some time last week, Julian showed up to the residence when she nor [WITNESS #1] were there trying to find [WITNESS #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that he also came by last night on February 21st, 2026. She stated that today he was driving a different vehicle, but she is sure that it is probably him.
I provided her a case number for the report and advised that I would leave it active for further investigation. She stated she wished for Julian to be prosecuted if it was determined to be him.
I returned to service.
At approximately 16:15 hours, [VICTIM #1] called back in stating that the male was back on her front porch and someone else in a blue car had came with him. She advised dispatch that the male in the blue car had left, but Julian was still on scene. While en route to the residence, [VICTIM #1] advised the male left in the gray SUV with the handicap tag.
While on Tanyard Creek Rd, myself and D/S J. Thatcher 962 were waved down by a male in a Toyota SUV. D/S Thatcher advised me that the Tahoe that was directly in front of the Toyota was the suspect vehicle. I turned around and began to travel back towards Allatoona Gateway. D/S Thatcher stated that he went right towards I-75 and was unable to locate it. I went left towards New Hope Church and I was also unable to locate the vehicle.
I searched FLOCK and was able to locate the tag for the vehicle as GA Tag: [REDACTED]. the tag returned to a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe Gray to [REDACTED] out of Ball Ground, GA. I searched [REDACTED]’s address, [300 BLOCK] Depot St, Ball Ground, GA, through Accurint. I was able to locate an associate with the last name of Bateman. I was then able to locate Julian’s information with a date of birth of [REDACTED] and discovered he is a Jr.
I returned to [VICTIM #1]’s house and met with her and [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] told me his neighbor, [WITNESS #2], witnessed the second incident. I asked [WITNESS #1] if he knew if Julian was a Jr or a Sr and he showed me Julian’s Facebook page with the name “Julian Ray Bateman Jr”. [WITNESS #1] also provided me [WITNESS #2]’s information to speak with him. [WITNESS #1] stated that they have not heard from Julian in over a year and he just recently started showing up when he is not there trying to get money that he is claiming he’s owed. [WITNESS #1] stated they paid Julian $600 last year.
I spoke with [WITNESS #2] and he stated that [WITNESS #1] had called him earlier that day to let him know that a male kept coming by the house harassing his girlfriend and asked him to look out for him while he is not home. [WITNESS #2] stated that he and his daughter were about to leave when he noticed the Gray Tahoe pull into the driveway. [WITNESS #2] stated that he also so a younger male in a blue car pull up behind him. [WITNESS #2] stated he talked to the younger male and asked what was going on and he said he didn’t know he was just asked to come with the male in the Tahoe to help him get something from the house.
[WITNESS #2] told the young male that he just needed to leave. [WITNESS #2] then stated that Julian was on the front porch yelling through the glass door at [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #2] stated that Julian started to leave and he spoke with him briefly and Julian told him he was just trying to get a ladder and money he was owed. [WITNESS #2] told Julian to leave and this was not the way to handle it and he needed to go to court. [WITNESS #2] described Julian to be stocky, maybe in his 30s with red hair.
Due to the pattern of events and the witnessing of the second incident by [WITNESS #2], a warrant was issued for Stalking for Julian.
This case will be closed pending arrest.
