On November 2, 2025, at approximately 1332 hours, Ofc. Pearce and I were dispatched to 1135 N Tennessee St in reference to a hit and run that had just occurred. Once on scene, I was able to speak with victim about the incident.

Victim stated she parked beside a White Ford Maverick (GA Tag), and shortly after exited her vehicle. After exiting her vehicle, she opened her back driver’s side door to grab her child from the back seat. As Victim was attempting to retrieve her child from the back seat, the driver of the Ford Maverick reversed his car, striking victim’s back driver’s side door beside the handle, leaving a black mark on the door. The driver then proceeded to have a brief argument with Victim over who was at fault. Shortly after, the Maverick looped around the building and stopped near victim’s car again and stated, “He was going to call ICE on her,” and shouted, “Illegal,” before leaving the parking lot.

It was at this time that Ofc. Pearce and my self arrived on scene, and Victim showed us photos and a video from the incident. In this video, you can see the Ford Maverick’s license plate, and after performing a GCIC inquiry of the plate, it revealed that it belonged to Mr. Keith Turner. Ofc. Pearce and I relocated to Mr. Turner’s residence to speak with him. Mr. [TURNER] stated that Victim was the one who struck his vehicle by opening her rear driver’s side door and hitting his vehicle. Mr. Turner stated he was parked in his parking spot when this incident happened. Mr. Turner stated he then drove around the building due to him fearing for his life after multiple Hispanic males began walking towards his car. Mr. Turner also alleged that a group of Mexican males jumped on his car, and this is why he left the scene.

After this, I returned to the scene where I was able to observe camera footage from this incident. In this camera footage, you observe Victim pull into her parking spot and open her rear driver’s side door. Seconds later, the video shows Mr. Turner reverse his vehicle into victim’s door, and a verbal altercation between the two is seen on video. After this, you see Mr. Turner pull around the building and stop near where Victim was parked. This is when the video of Mr. Turner yelling “Illegal” was taken. After that, you observe Mr. Turner leaving the parking lot.

Mr. Turner was placed under arrest, handcuffed behind his back, checked for fit, and double locked. He was searched incident to arrest for any weapons or contraband, which yielded negative results. Mr. Turner was then placed into the rear of my marked department-issued patrol vehicle. Mr. Turner wished to have his residence left unlocked so his significant other could enter the residence and take care of his dogs. This request was documented on my department-issued body-worn camera system. Mr. Turner was then transported to 104 Zena Dr, “BCSO,” where he was turned over to the deputy on scene without incident. Warrants were obtained for Mr. Turner’s arrest for hit and run (M) (CE-0177292).
