On Sunday, September 21, 2025, at approximately 0414 hours, I was dispatched to [4600 BLOCK] Anns Trace, Acworth, GA 30102, in reference to a suspicious male.

While enroute, Bartow Dispatch advised that they received a call in reference to a male banging on the door at the above location with knife in his hand. The caller also advised that the male had entered into a black GMC Sierra (Georgia Tag [REDACTED]) and a white GMC Sierra (Georgia Tag [REDACTED]).

Deputy Jessica Fain arrived to the area first, where she observed the suspect/arrestee, Mr. Kevin O’Brien, standing in the middle of Allatoona Gateway at Anns Trace, just next to the original incident location. Radio traffic indicated that Deputy Fain was able to detain Kevin without any further incident.

Upon my arrival, I spoke with the complainant/victim, Ms. [VICTIM #1], who stated she was woken up to a notification from her Ring Doorbell that someone was at the door. [VICTIM #1] stated she looked to see Kevin standing at the door with a knife tucked by his side and holding the door handle. [VICTIM #1] stated she immediately called 911 to prompt a law enforcement response while she kept watching Kevin. [VICTIM #1] stated Kevin then went into the driveway and entered into the vehicles listed above due to them being unlocked. [VICTIM #1] stated Kevin did not take anything from the vehicles, so she locked them as soon as he closed the door to each vehicle.

[VICTIM #1] stated Kevin then came back on the porch and began knocking on the windows before attempting to pry one open with the knife. [VICTIM #1] stated she then observed Kevin walk off of the property where Deputy Fain and Deputy Rickett arrived and took him into custody. [VICTIM #1] showed me the video, which depicts exactly what she described.

While speaking with [VICTIM #1] about this incident, she decided that she did not wish to press charges. [VICTIM #1] only wished to have a Criminal Trespass Warning (CTW) issued to Kevin, and to have him removed from the property.

While Kevin was detained, he began saying that someone was murdered by lethal injection at [4600 BLOCK] Anns Trace, so he came up to this residence to get the person that did it. It was apparent that Kevin was under the influence of some type drug due to his demeanor, his physical state of being clammy, and his inability to maintain a conversation.

Based on the acts of Kevin and the risk to the general public should Kevin be released, I arrested him and charged him with Disorderly Conduct due to his apparent intoxication and him breaching the peace.

Kevin was transported to the Bartow County Jail where he was turned over to the deputy there with no further incident.

Kevin was issued a CTW and a citation for Disorderly Conduct, and a copy was left with the jail staff.
