On Tuesday, October 21st, 2025 at approximately 1425 hours I was dispatched to Woodland High School located at 800 Old Alabama Rd, Cartersville, Bartow County, Georgia in reference to a sexual offenses report.

Upon my arrival, I met with Bartow County School System Campus Police Officers Will Vanschuyver and Troy McFadden. Will and Troy advised me that students had come forward to them in reference to a video that Lataisa Ariyanna Sloan had shown them on the school bus. Will and Troy said the students identified Lataisa in the video having sexual intercourse with a male they knew and identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

Lataisa is currently a seventeen (17) year old female enrolled in the tenth (10th) grade at Woodland High School. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] is currently a [REDACTED BY AGENCY] ([REDACTED BY AGENCY] year old male enrolled in the ninth (9th) grade at Woodland High School. Both currently live in the same apartment complex known as the Chadwick Apartments located at [5300 BLOCK] Allatoona Gateway, Acworth, Bartow County, Georgia. Lataisa lives in apartment [REDACTED] while [REDACTED BY AGENCY] lives in apartment [REDACTED].

Investigator Kelly Ventura arrived on scene and met with myself and the other officers in the Woodland High School Resource Officer Office. Lataisa was subsequently called up to the office so law enforcement could speak to her about the video.

Lataisa arrived in the school resource office and appeared to be nervous as she was visibly shaking and moving her body in an unnatural manner. I identified myself as a deputy sheriff with the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office and I introduced her to Investigator Ventura.

I told Lataisa a sentence to the effect of “The reason we are here is because we were made aware of..” and Lataisa interupted my statement to state a sentence to the effect of “A thirty (30) year old man?” I told Lataisa no and that this was in reference to another student there at Woodland High School. Lataisa asked who and gave a name of who I understood to be the name “[REDACTED]” or something similar.

I told Lataisa the issue was something having to do with her cell phone. Lataisa had the cell phone in her hand at this point and appeared to unlock the phone and then place it down to her side. Lataisa said a sentence to the effect of “If this is about what happened to me and those girls.” Lataisa was advised by law enforcement that we were not aware of what she was talking about. Lataisa asked law enforcement a sentence to the effect of “What are y’all talking about?”

Lataisa was told law enforcement was there because we were being informed by other students that she was going around showing them a video. Lataisa brought her phone back up to be visible and was actively doing something on the phone. Investigator Ventura told Lataisa to put the phone down on the desk to preserve evidence. Lataisa said “Bro can I call my momma?” Lataisa continuously called Investigator Ventura “bro.” Lataisa was told again to place her phone onto the desk in which she failed to do so. Lataisa bent over and placed the phone behind her back to make it hard for law enforcement to obtain her cell phone. Investigator Ventura retrieved Lataisa’s cell phone from behind her back. Lataisa stated she was not doing anything.

Lataisa then said a sentence to the effect of “The only video I have is of my sister with a guy named ‘[REDACTED]’ I swear. But then I deleted that. I was showing that.” Lataisa was asked what was in the video. Lataisa stated a sentence to the effect of “this guy said he would pay my sister to ‘f’ her. My sister, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]). [REDACTED]. He goes to a school in Athens. And that’s the video I have is of him screwing her. So, you can call my momma. That’s the only thing I have in my phone.”

Law enforcement told Lataisa that is not the information we have at all. Lataisa was told that we were given information that she had video of her and [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Lataisa identified [REDACTED BY AGENCY] as her cousin. Lataisa was asked if there was a video of her and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] having intercourse. Lataisa said no. Lataisa said she and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] do not talk because they are not allowed to talk to each other. Lataisa said she was “cool” with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] but they do not talk.

Law enforcement told Lataisa that there were several people saying that they had seen a video of her with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] having sexual intercourse. Lataisa said a sentence to the effect of “Bro, those girls that told y’all that, those girls don’t like me. Because I told her, I told her y’all need to stop screwing the forty (40) year old. She’s screwing a forty (40) year old man. And a thirty year old man, he told my sister he would pay $250.00 to f you. I told her stop, don’t do that.”

Lataisa then came out and said a sentence to the effect of “I do have one more video of another dude with another child.” I asked Lataisa if she was saying there was another video involving a child. Lataisa said no and said a sentence to the effect of “I don’t know how old she is. I know she got pregnant right after and he said let me screw you and sent it to my sister.”

I asked Lataisa if she was saying she had videos of her juvenile sister [REDACTED BY AGENCY] having intercourse with another guy on her cell phone. Lataisa said a sentence to the effect of “No, not her. The one sent to my sister. The girl in bench mode.”

I told Lataisa the students here at this school have identified her and [REDACTED] so these were not thirty (30) year old men we were talking about and this was a [REDACTED BY AGENCY] ([REDACTED BY AGENCY]) year old kid. Lataisa acted even more nervous and threw her arms up into the air. Lataisa then approached on Investigator Ventura who was in a corner and had Lataisa’s cell phone. Lataisa was told to back up and return to where she was in the room. Lataisa said she was going to contact her mother and attempted to leave the room. I kept the door from opening by keeping my foot on the door.

Lataisa said a sentence to the effect of “Call my momma. You can’t talk to me without my momma.” It was explained to Lataisa that she was seventeen (17) years of age and in Georgia a person who is seventeen (17) is considered an adult in Georgia State Law.

Lataisa said a sentence to the effect of “Bro. Are you not listening to what I am saying? Oh my God. I didn’t have intercourse with this [REDACTED BY AGENCY] or whatever you are trying to say.” Investigator Ventura asked for Lataisa for consent to give her the password to her cell phone so we could review the videos in question. Lataisa approached on Investigator Ventura in a fast manner again and was told to return to where she was standing. Lataisa said a sentence to the effect of “We didn’t do nothing. You can ask him this, he literally goes to this school. We didn’ t do nothing. Like literally!”

Investigator Ventura told Lataisa that if she would consent to a search she could look through the cell phone to view the videos at that time. It was explained to Lataisa if she did not provide consent her cell phone would be seized and a search warrant would be taken out to search through everything on her cell phone.

Lataisa then said a sentence to the effect of “Ok, well, me and my sister share the same phone.” It was explained that the cell phone was currently in her possession Lataisa was asked again if she would be willing to provide her passcode. Lataisa continuously tried to get the cell phone back from Investigator Ventura and it was denied to provide the cell phone back due to the risk of evidence being destroyed.

I observed Lataisa then walk toward Investigator Ventura again in a fast manner reaching out her hand toward her. Lataisa was told once again to go back to where she was standing.

Lataisa said there was nothing in her cell phone once again.

Lataisa asked for the cell phone back so she said she could type the password in. Due to the risk of losing evidence, the cell phone was not provided to Lataisa. Lataisa said she wanted to go home and walked in front of me to try and leave the room again. Lataisa reached across the School Resource Officer’s desk, picked up his desk phone, and said she was calling her momma. The phone was taken from Lataisa’s hand and placed back on the phone dock. Lataisa said she was not seventeen (17). Lataisa was told she was. Lataisa approached Investigator Ventura again in an aggressive manner and Investigator Ventura moved Lataisa away from her.

I ordered for Lataisa to sit down. Lataisa stated that we were racist. I ordered for Lataisa to sit down again. Lataisa said she was going to stand up. I told Lataisa she was about to go to jail for obstruction. Lataisa then sat down.

Lataisa said a sentence to the effect of “Ok, look. My um, my password is 0-8-3” while hesitating. Lataisa was told that her cell phone was going to be taken. Lataisa became irate again jumping up and down and I told her to sit down again. I told Lataisa that one more time she was going to go to jail. Lataisa sat down. Lataisa was told her cell phone was being taken and Lataisa jumped up and down in her chair screaming “no.” Lataisa tried to stand up and I asked a sentence to the effect of “What did I just tell you?”

Investigator Ventura asked again if she was willing to provide the password to her cell phone and Lataisa said a sentence to the effect of “-0, Ok, Could you listen to this please. Ok, my phone right, I’m trying to get my phone, I need my phone.” It was explained to Lataisa she was not getting her phone. Lataisa stated that she needed her phone.

Lataisa then began to call law enforcement racist again. Lataisa said a sentence to the effect of “And y’all just believe somebody else. Like, no, I don’t have videos. I want to call my momma. Me and him don’t talk.” Lataisa stood up again after being told not to stand up multiple times.

Lataisa was informed it would be months before her cell phone would be returned to her due to the process. Lataisa advised she was moving November 15th. I asked Lataisa why she was standing up again after being told multiple times to stay seated. Lataisa said a sentence to the effect of “Oooo I see why I hate white people. I need my phone. You’re over here harassing me over what another student said. And I have a video of her fu*king everybody. A man came to the house. Shes [REDACTED BY AGENCY], he’s twenty five (25), he fu*ked her. And shes on the basketball team.”

I asked Lataisa if there was another explicit video involving a juvenile on your phone. Lataisa said a sentence to the effect of “No not on my phone, on her phone. She’s showing me.” Lataisa was asked again what video she showed people. Lataisa said it was the video with [REDACTED] that is in her photos. Lataisa said that video was going around the bus.

Investigator Ventura told Lataisa her cell phone was being seized and she would be in touch with Lataisa’s mother to advise her when the cell phone would be returned. Lataisa begged for her phone to be returned.

Lataisa was told she had seven (7) minutes until her bus left the school and she needed to get there. Lataisa said that she was being the way she was being was because her mother told her that if law enforcement ever tried to speak with her to call her mother. Lataisa told Investigator Ventura that she was trying to tell us about the video that did not involve her was what she was showing everybody. Lataisa then made a sentence to the effect of “If I was a white person y’all wouldn’t be doing this sh*t.” It was explained that we conduct investigations the same for everybody no matter what their race is. We told Lataisa the conversation was now over with and she could leave.

Lataisa proceeded to tell Investigator Ventura a sentence to the effect of “Bye you’re a b*tch.” I immediately shut the door. Lataisa then said a sentence to the effect of “You can’t lock me up because of that.” I told Lataisa that she needed to respect people. The door was then opened and Lataisa was told to go and not miss the bus. Lataisa then lingered around the vestibule outside of the Resource Officer’s office. Lataisa then gestured a bird finger toward myself and Investigator Ventura.

Investigator Ventura was provided with student statements from Campus Police regarding what they reported. Investigator Ventura took possession of these statements as well as Lataisa’s cell phone so a search warrant could be obtained.

This case is active pending further investigation.
