On 6/7/2026 at 0902, I responded to [300 BLOCK] Old Mill Rd in reference to a damage to property incident that occurred sometime the previous night. Upon my arrival to the back parking lot of the [REDACTED] building, I made contact with Victim 1. Victim 1 stated that someone had smashed the windshield of her Dodge Durango (GA Tag#: [REDACTED]) with a rock.
I observed the vehicle, which was backed into the parking space and saw that a piece of the parking lot blacktop had been used to smash the windshield. I also noted small dings and scratches on all sides of the vehicle and the hood and scratches on the driver’s side window. I also observed that both side mirrors had been shifted from their normal place, but not damaged. I observed a print on the Driver’s side rear window that appeared to be a face print. There also appeared to be dried water or sweat marks on the hood.
All these observations lead me to believe that an intoxicated, shirtless male retrieved the blacktop fragment and walked around the vehicle, bumping the rock against the sides and front. The suspect leaned over the hood then threw the rock into the windshield before attempting to flee through the gap to the right of the vehicle, hitting the side mirror of the Durango and the car to the right of it before falling to press his face against the rear driver’s side window, leaving a face print.
On 6/6/2026, B-shift encountered and arrested Mr. Reynaldo Hernandez (Case #:2026-00013470) who was extremely intoxicated and was roaming around outside shirtless, behaving erratically enough for 911 to be called. Mr. Hernandez was found less than 50 yards from where the damage was done. As such I have listed him as a suspect in this incident.
I obtained photographs of the damage with my BWC which was activated during this incident.
