On 11/22/2025 I, Deputy Puckett, was dispatched to [5900 BLOCK] Gum Dr SE in reference to a possible physical domestic altercation involving weapons.
On scene, I was met at the end of the driveway by (victim) [VICTIM #1]. I observed [VICTIM #1] to have blood on his head and face. I also observed [VICTIM #1] to have blood on his shirt. [VICTIM #1] presented me with one of his teeth, which was knocked from his mouth during the altercation as well. While awaiting the arrival of other units, I could hear (suspect) Tammy Rule yelling and slamming things from within the residence.
Once other units arrived on scene, I made contact with Tammy. I observed Tammy to be bleeding from small lacerations to both her arms. Tammy was attempting to bandage her upper right arm as well. Tammy advised me her injuries were from her “bumping into things” during the argument. Tammy advised she did not know what caused the altercation. She advised she confronted [VICTIM #1] about being in a bad mood when the two of them returned home from dinner. Tammy advised [VICTIM #1] yelled at her, she yelled back, and things escalated. Tammy advised the altercation did not turn physical at any time and described it as being a “screaming match”.
[VICTIM #1] advised when the two of them returned home from dinner, he was tired. [VICTIM #1] advised he sat on the couch and began playing a game on his phone to relax. [VICTIM #1] advised Tammy started confronting and yelling at him because he was not talking to her. [VICTIM #1] advised the two of them yelled at one another and when he attempted to get up and leave the situation, the altercation turned physical. [VICTIM #1] advised Tammy struck him on or about his head and face (2) times with a wooden stool. [VICTIM #1] advised his injuries were caused by Tammy’s striking him with the stool.
The scene had been cleaned up prior to my arrival. Due to conflicting statements and the scene being manipulated, I was unable to definitively prove the use of the stool. I was able to prove [VICTIM #1] was struck in the face and his tooth was knocked from his mouth.
Both Tammy and [VICTIM #1] advised the two of them are in a dating relationship and live together within the same residence.
Both Tammy and [VICTIM #1] were evaluated on scene by MetroEMS and both refused medical treatment.
Tammy was placed under arrest and warrants were secured for Aggravated Battery-FVA.
