On Wednesday, November 19th, 2025 at approximately 1524 hours, I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Overlook Parkway (Prose Apartments) in reference to a physical domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim/complainant in a neighboring apartment [REDACTED]. Complainant/Victim stated upon her arriving to the residence her husband, Taylor Bishop, had been consuming alcohol and was very intoxicated. Complainant/Victim would state to Officers this is not the first time of Mr. Bishop being physical with her while he is intoxicated. Complainant/Victim stated she would ask Mr. Bishop to leave the residence due to their children arriving soon and she did not want the children exposed to the situation.

Complainant/Victim stated she would advise Mr. Bishop her mother was on the way and he needed to leave. Mr. Bishop would stand up off the couch and begin to pack his belongings into trash bags. Complainant/Victim stated she told Mr. Bishop he would not be able to use all of the trash bags and at this point he would “snatch” the roll of trash bags from her hand. Complainant/Victim stated at this time Mr. Bishop would “get in her face” and at this point shoving her in the upper chest area causing her to hit the laundry room door. Complainant/Victim stated she would try to retreat into the bedroom and Mr. Bishop would pursue after her.

Complainant/Victim stated she had her car keys and cellular phone in her hand and at this time she swiped her keys towards Mr. Bishop in an attempt to get him to stop pursuing her. Mr. Bishop would “snatch” her cellular phone out of her hands when she attempted to call for help and throw it on the ground causing disabling damage to her cellular phone. Mr. Bishop would then shove Complainant/Victim into a night stand located outside of the bedroom door. Complainant/Victim would lean down in an attempt to retrieve her phone and car keys when Mr. Bishop would wrap his arm around her throat and begin applying pressure. Complainant/Victim stated she would then be picked up by her throat and slung over the couch.

Complainant/Victim would state to Officers that she feared for her life as she believed Mr. Bishop was not going to let her go. Mr. Bishop would release Complainant/Victim at this time and she saw his keys hanging by the door and would throw them outside the residence in an attempt to get Mr. Bishop to exit the apartment and she would lock the door behind him. Mr. Bishop would use his shoulder to force entry back into the residence and approach Complainant/Victim and state “he did not want to hurt her” and would place his fingers down her throat. Complainant/Victim stated she would begin to scream in order to get someone’s attention and Mr. Bishop would exit the residence at this time. Complainant/Victim would state she felt she was not able to leave due to the physical nature of Mr. Bishop. To be of note, while speaking with Officers, Complainant/Victim appeared to be having a hard time swallowing consistent with the pressure applied to ones throat. Complainant/Victim would also to appear to have visible red marks on the left side of her neck.

Complainant/Victim would state Mr. Bishop left the residence prior to Officers arriving on scene. A GCIC inquiry of Mr. Bishop would reveal a previous traffic stop and Officers were able to locate the Tag number associated with his vehicle(GA Tag-). A FLOCK search of the vehicle would yield the vehicle to be seen travelling west on West Avenue. The vehicle was located by Officers at 1401 West Avenue (Chevron).

B.J. Wornell would make contact with Mr. Bishop behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. Upon asking Mr. Bishop to exit the vehicle the odor of alcohol would be emitting from Mr. Bishop. An open container of suspected alcohol would be seen in the vehicle.

Officer Wornell made contact with the subject. Reference the Case Supplemental completed by Officer Wornell for further information on the interaction with Mr. Bishop.

Photos of Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s injuries and the damage to the property were taken by Officer Clanton. Warrants are as follows

Aggravated Assault Strangulation- Due to the pressure applied to victim’s throat and neck area that caused her to state she feared for her life along with the visible red marks and Complainant/Victim appearing to have trouble swallowing.

False Imprisonment- Due to the fact of Mr. Bishop without legal authority restricted Complainant/Victim to leave the residence on her own free will as to confine her to the apartment to further assault Complainant/Victim.

Criminal Damage to Property X2 (F)- Due to the fact of two separate incidents of Mr. Bishop causing over $500.00 in damage to the cell phone belonging to Complainant/Victim and the door of the residence.

FVA Simple Battery- Due to the unwanted physical touching of Complainant/Victim by Mr. Bishop in the form of shoving her multiple times.

DUI Alcohol- Due to the fact of Mr. Bishop drinking prior to Officers arriving and the odor of Alcohol emitting from Mr. Bishops’ breath when contact was made. Mr. Bishop would refuse implied consent.

Open Container- Due to the fact of Mr Bishop having an open bottle of suspected alcohol in the vehicle upon contact being made.

Copies of the warrants were attached to the report as well as the Victim Notification Form. The incident would be captured on my BWC as well as Officer Clanton’s.
