On Friday, August 7, 2026, at approximately 1142 hours, I was dispatched to [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Nicholas Ln for a domestic altercation. While enroute Bartow County Dispatch informed me that a white male wearing a black shirt and black pants left the scene toward the entrance of the subdivision. I located the male, identified as Mr. Trevor Hauck, on Center Rd near Nicholas Ln.
Mr. Huack stated his mother entered his room and started yelling at him telling to go to the backyard. Mr. Hauck informed me that he turned around quickly and unintentionally struck [VICTIM #1]. Mr. Hauck advised me that he did not strike his sister. Mr. Hauck showed me his hand to me and I noticed his knuckle was red. SGT. Cooney went to the residence to speak with [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2]. It was discovered Mr. Hauck has a bond condition stating Mr. Hauck is to have no contact with [VICTIM #1] and to take his medication.
[VICTIM #1] stated Mr. Hauck was yelling while he was in his room. [VICTIM #1] informed me that [VICTIM #2] and herself work from home. [VICTIM #1] advised me that she went to Mr. Hauck’s room to ask him to stop yelling. [VICTIM #1] stated Mr. Hauck yelled at her stating “you are not going to tell me what the fu*k to do” and then struck her with the back of his hand across the face. [VICTIM #2] stated when Mr. Hauck struck [VICTIM #1], she lost consciousness and she had to catch [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #2] stated while she was helping, Mr. Hauck attempted to strike her, but she was able to put her arm in front of her face. [VICTIM #2] informed me Mr. Hauck struck her on the forearm leaving a noticeable red mark.
I placed Mr. Hauck into handcuffs behind the back, checked for fit, and double locked for safety. A search of Mr. Hauck was conducted and was negative of contraband or weapons. I placed Mr. Hauck into the back of my marked patrol vehicle which is searched before and after transport yielding negative of contraband. I transported Mr. Hauck to 104 Zena Dr (Bartow County Jail) for housing. Warrants for (CE-0182744) aggravated stalking and (CE-0182745) Battery FVA times 2.

CHARGE DISMISSED AGAINST TREVOR JOHN HAUCK
What this means: The State of Georgia, through Assistant District Attorney Zachary C. Guder of the Cherokee Judicial Circuit, filed a formal dismissal in Bartow County Superior Court on October 5, 2026 (Case No. CE0182744). The dismissal does not mean the State disbelieved the underlying facts — the filing specifically states that sufficient probable cause existed at the time of arrest. Rather, the prosecution chose not to pursue the charge as a standalone count, explaining that the facts supporting it will instead be used in connection with the broader case. The State cited judicial economy and responsible use of public resources as its reasons for the dismissal.
