On September 15, 2026, at around 0044 hours, I was dispatched to [400 BLOCK] East Valley Road Northeast, Rydal GA, 30171, in reference to a Theft in Progress.
Upon arrival, I met with [VICTIM #1], who stated that Victoria McEver had come to his house asking for money. He told her that he only had $50 he could give her, but she wanted more. At that time, Victoria began arguing with [VICTIM #1] and started punching him in the face and strangling him. He indicated that he would not hit her back, but while trying to defend himself, she pulled a knife. When [VICTIM #1] saw the knife, he blocked it with his hand and sustained a laceration. He also stated that another male, whom he had not seen or met before, began punching him as well. [VICTIM #1] indicated that he experienced loss of breath during the strangulation.
[VICTIM #1] said that [WITNESS #1] was not involved in the altercation; she witnessed everything and also had taken Victoria and the Male to his house in her vehicle. No testimonial from the witness was gathered due to not having a valid cellphone number for [WITNESS #1].
[VICTIM #1] became separated from the parties and went inside the residence. Upon doing so, [VICTIM #1] noticed that Victoria and the male were stealing his truck from the yard. [VICTIM #1] said that he normally keeps the keys inside the vehicle.
[VICTIM #1] stated that he and Victoria had previously been in a relationship and had lived together. I asked [VICTIM #1] if he wanted medical attention for the cuts on his hands, and he indicated he did not.
The vehicle was entered on GCIC/NCIC as stolen. Pictures of [VICTIM #1]’s injuries were taken. Warrants on Victoria were issued for Theft by Taking – Stolen Vehicle (F), Aggravated Assault – Strangulation (F), and Aggravated Assault (F).
