On Tuesday, 05-12-26 at 1651 hours, I (Sgt. Bruce) received a call to report to [700 BLOCK] Schaeffer Pl. in reference to a domestic dispute with a gun involved.
I made contact with Mr. [VICTIM #1], who stated that his 22-year-old son (Adonis Walden) entered his property and forced his way into his residence by pointing a gun at him. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that he has told Adonis several times to stay off his property because he is disrespectful and very threatening, but Adonis continues to come on his property. Adonis also damaged the door to the front storage shed in Mr. [VICTIM #1]’s front yard. I observed the front door of the shed, and it was bent, looking like it had been pried open. Adonis had left the scene before my arrival, but I located him on Main St. in Davis Homes.
As I approached Mr. Walden, I asked him where the gun was, and he stated that it was in his right pocket. He attempted to reach for it. I advised Mr. Walden not to reach for the gun, and he obeyed. I reached into Mr. Walden’s right pocket and retrieved a black and silver pistol (serial number AFYN626). Mr. Walden stated that he pointed the gun, but he did not have a clip in the gun, so it would not fire. Mr. Walden claimed that his father ([VICTIM #1]) would not let him into the residence to get his belongings, and he had to get his property.
I arrested Mr. Walden, and as I put the handcuffs on him, he started using profanity and jerking around, causing me to restrain him and get him into the patrol vehicle. On my way to LEC, I advised Mr. Walden not to return to his father’s residence because he had been banned. Mr. Walden stated that he is not only going back to his father’s residence, but he is also going to send them all to hell. Mr. Walden stated that he would send my family to hell and indicated that if the pistol had been loaded, he would have shot me when I approached him.
Mr. Walden was booked into Bibb Co. LEC. The pistol was placed into the crime lab.
