Monday June 29,2026, I Deputy Elson Odle was dispatched to [700 BLOCK] Woodard ave in reference to fight call.
Upon my arrival, I observed several individuals leaving the roadway in front of the location. I did not see anyone who was injured, nor did anyone indicate that they required assistance. While checking the properties at [700 BLOCK] and [700 BLOCK] Woodard Ave, I noted that there was no visible damage to the properties. However, I did find five 9mm casings and one live 9mm hollow point round on the property at [700 BLOCK] Woodard Ave. I notified Lieutenant Purnell and Sergeant Beltram about the incident. The casings will be submitted to the crime lab for analysis.
Sometime later, I received a call from Atrium Hospital, informing me that a male named Mr. [VICTIM #1] had arrived at the hospital, stating that he was assaulted at [700 BLOCK] Woodard Ave.
When I met with Mr. [VICTIM #1] at Atrium, he explained that he works for Uber and had picked up two Black males from [3000 BLOCK] N Ingles Place, Apartment [REDACTED], in Georgia, 31210. He stated that he drove them to [700 BLOCK] Woodard Ave. During the ride, the male in the front passenger seat produced a pistol and began striking him in the head and face repeatedly. The male in the back seat also hit him in the head and started taking items from his pockets. Mr. [VICTIM #1] reported that the assailants stole his wallet, identification, Chime debit card, a black Samsung Galaxy cellphone, and both his car and house keys before exiting his vehicle. Before leaving, the male with the gun approached the driver’s window and pointed the gun at Mr. [VICTIM #1]’ head. As Mr. [VICTIM #1] attempted to push the gun away, the assailant fired, damaging the door and rolling window. Mr. [VICTIM #1] mentioned that he believes the suspects went into [700 BLOCK] Woodard Ave after the incident.
He described one of the males as approximately 5’9″, dark-skinned, with short twists in his hair, and carrying an olive-green backpack. The second suspect was wearing a ski mask. Additionally, Mr. [VICTIM #1] reported that he heard a female call the suspect with the gun “Tray.”
During my conversation with Mr. [VICTIM #1], I observed that his right eye was swollen shut, his left eye was also swollen, and there was significant swelling and bruising around his forehead. I also noted that Mr. [VICTIM #1]’ vehicle had a single bullet hole in the driver’s side door, and the bullet was found on the floorboard next to the gas and brake pedals. Mr. [VICTIM #1] was provided with a case card that included the case number for his records.
Lieutenant Purnell and Investigator Moss were also notified of the incident.

JUDGE DENIES BOND FOR ANESHA HENDERSON
What this means: After a bond hearing held on October 1, 2026, Judge Connie L. Williford of Bibb County Superior Court — Macon Judicial Circuit — signed an order denying bond for Anesha Henderson in case number 2026-MCR-007409. The court found that Henderson has been incarcerated since August 10, 2026, and determined by a preponderance of the evidence — meaning it was more likely than not — that she poses a significant risk of committing another felony while the case is pending. As a result, Henderson will remain held without bond while the case moves forward. The charges listed on the order include aggravated assault, and the case is noted as unindicted, meaning a grand jury has not yet formally returned charges.
