On October 25, 2025, I, Sgt. Craig Lewis, responded to the area of [3000 BLOCK] Churchill Street in reference to a shot spotter call.

Upon my arrival, I was able to observe a black male standing outside of a vehicle with blood on his shorts and his body. When the male subject noticed my vehicle, he ran and got into the driver’s seat of his car, then drove off. I then activated my lights and sirens, and the car came to a stop after a few feet. The male then exited and was given several verbal commands to get on the ground, which he initially refused, but then complied.

I then was able to get the male into handcuffs and secured him in my vehicle.

I then rechecked the car and found a female passenger. The female was then identified as [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] was then advised to step out of the car. While speaking with [VICTIM #1], I noticed significant swelling on her face and scratches all over her body. It was clear that [VICTIM #1] had been attacked. [VICTIM #1] stated that she and her child’s father, Anthony Lundy, had gotten into an argument. She stated that Lundy got mad at her because a friend called her a name on the phone. This set Lundy off as he thought [VICTIM #1] was being unfaithful. Lundy then began to hit [VICTIM #1] in the car and then pulled over off Churchill Street.

[VICTIM #1] then stated that Lundy removed her from the car and grabbed a piece of wood from the piles of trash. [VICTIM #1] stated that the wood had nails or screws in it. At that time, Lundy began to hit [VICTIM #1] several times in the face and even kicked her as if she was on the ground. Lundy then saw a car coming and told [VICTIM #1] to get in the car. It was at that time I pulled up, and Lundy took off. [VICTIM #1] stated that Lundy told her that she had better not talk to me about what happened. Based on the evidence and the fact that this case does involve Family Violence, Lundy was taken to the Bibb County LEC for Aggravated Assault.

[VICTIM #1] was taken home by Cpl. Lewis.
