I Sgt Wallace was called [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in reference to a rape. When I arrived, I spoke with the victim [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that around 2300-0000Hrs she was walking down Eisenhower close to the Fulton Mill Rd roundabout. She said an unknown black man pulled up in a small white SUV and asked her if she wanted a ride and she told him no. He drove off but turned around and pulled up behind her on the shoulder of the road and told her to get in, that’s when she ran through the woods trying to get away. She then said he fired two or three shots from his handgun, which scared her and made her come out of the woods. He then grabbed her by her hair and bent her over in the passenger seat of his car on the side of the road a began having sex with her. She said she saw a car stop but it kept going.

Around that time, we got a call for unknown trouble in the same location (2025-613670 reference #). She then said she tried to jump on the driver’s side and get away, but she put the car in neutral by mistake. Thats when he reached through the driver’s side window and began punching her in the face. I notice a lump on her forehead left side. She stated that her shoes were in the woods where it all happened. Lt. Bridger was called and will follow up. She was taken to the hospital by EMS.
