On 6-9-2026 I Cpl. D. Jones responded to [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic.

Upon my arrival I made contact with victims Ms. [VICTIM #1] and Ms. [VICTIM #2]. [VICTIM #1] stated that the accused Mr. Benquarius Corbin is the father of her unborn child and is her boyfriend. She stated that they had been having a verbal altercation through text messages all day. She stated the argument was over him giving her the house keys back. She stated she came to Macon to get the keys and when she got to Macon she advised him they she was outside to retrieve the keys. [VICTIM #1] stated Corbin came outside upset. She stated once outside Corbin became very irate and punched her in the face as well as his cousin Ms. [VICTIM #2].

Their was also a small child present at the time of the incident. She was later identified as 3 year old [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who was sitting in the car at the time Corbin was hitting her. [VICTIM #1] is currently pregnant with Corbin child. [VICTIM #1] requested EMS to come out to the scene to check her out due to her being pregnant.

When deputies made contact with Corbin he was inside of apartment [REDACTED] in a back bedroom laying down. He stated him and [VICTIM #1] had words through text and she later advised him that she was outside to get the keys. When I asked Corbin did the verbal argument turn physical at any given time he stated no that it did not. After further investigation Corbin was placed under arrest and transported to the Bibb County jail and charged with 2 counts of Battery family violence and 1 count of Cruelty to Children 3rd Degree.
