On December 17, 2025, at approximately 1137 hours, I was dispatched to 1904 Shurling Drive in reference to a person shot.

Upon arrival, I observed a Black male lying on the ground suffering from multiple apparent gunshot wounds to the head and chest. Using a fingerprint scanner, the victim was identified as [VICTIM #1].

After the crime scene was secured, I obtained video surveillance footage from store clerks Ms. [REDACTED] and Mr. [REDACTED]. While reviewing the footage, I observed a Black male suspect, appearing to be between 16 and 19 years of age, wearing a black hoodie with a green jacket, black pants, and black shoes.

The video showed the suspect walking toward the entrance of the store as [VICTIM #1] approached. As the door opened, the suspect immediately began firing, striking [VICTIM #1] in the head and chest multiple times. The suspect then fled the store on foot, heading south on Shurling Drive.

EMS, Lt. Inzar, and Investigator Rohrboch were notified and arrived on scene shortly thereafter.
