On 09/21/2025, I, Sergeant Grube, responded to [500 BLOCK] Heard Avenue (boarding house) in reference to shots fired inside the residence.
Upon arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1]. [VICTIM #1] advised that Charlie Williams came up to their room complaining about his food being taken. [VICTIM #1] advised that he came out to talk with Charlie. [VICTIM #1] advised that they talked in Charlie’s room. [VICTIM #1] advised that Charlie was intoxicated. [VICTIM #1] advised that during the conversation Charlie fired his handgun towards him. [VICTIM #1] advised that Charlie left the residence and fired again outside.
[WITNESS #1] advised that Charlie came to their door and she saw a handgun in his hand. [WITNESS #1] advised that the handgun was a revolver and showed me a picture that she had of it (chrome/silver revolver). [WITNESS #1] advised that Charlie fired the handgun and then left the residence when she advised that she was calling 911. [WITNESS #1] advised that Charlie fired the gun again while outside.
I did observe an impact mark that appears to be from a projectile in the wall of the first unit on the right (Charlie’s room). The residence has exterior surveillance.
I made contact with [WITNESS #2] (landlord). I advised him of the situation and inquired about the surveillance. [WITNESS #2] advised that the surveillance is just outside. [WITNESS #2] advised that Charlie has previously had an issue at the residence concerning a firearm. [WITNESS #2] advised that the firearm was a revolver.
Deputy Dixon located Charlie walking on Heard Avenue.
I made contact with Charlie. Charlie advised that he did not do anything and that he has never had a gun in that residence. Charlie advised that the female ([WITNESS #1]) has been taking his food. Charlie was detained without issue.
Deputy Dixon will transport and book Charlie into Bibb LEC for Aggravated Assault. The firearm was not located.
[End of Narrative]
