On the 28th of November 2024, I, Investigator Terry observed a male suspect run to a vehicle while at the Arbors Apartments on Northside Drive at Ingle Place and left at a high rate of speed. I observed the vehicle fail to maintain its lane and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. The vehicle traveled approximately a quarter of a mile before stopping.
The driver identified himself as Chifuno Kabisama. He advised he did not have his license on him. The radio room advised the vehicle was not registered and had no insurance. I advised the driver and all the other occupants of the vehicle to exit the vehicle. Mr. Quinto Lamar Jackson, fled on foot but was apprehended by Investigator Grant. The suspects also had a firearm inside the vehicle, one of which was found on Jeremias Maxwell. The other firearm was recovered in a pond near the area Mr. Jackson fled. We late learned that the suspects had left the immediate area where a reported assault took place. The suspects were taken to 111 Third St. (the Sheriffs Office Annex building) to be interviewed.
(The information for the other firearm taken from Jeremias will be added to the Investigative report at a later date. The firearm was taken by Patrol Deputies.)
All suspects were arrested in connection with this incident.
