On 06-05-2023 I Deputy D Palmer responded to [70 BLOCK] Short Street Macon-Bibb, Georgia in reference to a person hit by a car. Upon arrival I spoke with [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2], the two victims. I recognized [VICTIM #1] from a previous call I had earlier on this date, case number 2023-49595, in reference to the accused driver of the vehicle Courtney Green and her daughter [WITNESS #1] in a verbal dispute about respect and possession of a cell phone.
[VICTIM #1] stated that after I separated the two parties, and [WITNESS #1] got a ride to [VICTIM #1] house, the accused Green drove from the original home of the original dispute at [100 BLOCK] West Ridge Circle Macon-Bibb, Georgia, to her home on short street. She stated that a verbal argument began between the accused Green, [VICTIM #1], [VICTIM #2], and [WITNESS #1] over the issue from earlier in the evening. [VICTIM #1] stated that after the argument got heated Green started driving her Lincoln vehicle in circles aggressively in attempts to hit [WITNESS #1], [VICTIM #2], and [VICTIM #1]. She stated that she successfully side swiped [VICTIM #1], and hit [VICTIM #2] causing [VICTIM #2] to go completely onto the hood of the vehicle and fall off onto the ground. [VICTIM #1] stated that Green then left the scene. [VICTIM #2]’s story aligned with [VICTIM #1].
I then spoke with a witness, [WITNESS #2], who showed me video of the group verbally arguing. I was able to see the vehicle in the video, and recognized it as being the same vehicle I observed parked in the driveway from the earlier incident on West Ridge Court, which Green had left in. Her statement also aligned with [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2].
I went to the home on West Ridge Court in attempts to locate green but was unsuccessful. I did however find [WITNESS #1] gathering her clothes, who had ran from the incident on Short Street, in attempts to gather her things from the home before her mother came back. They were living together at this time. [WITNESS #1] story also aligned with [VICTIM #2] and [VICTIM #1].
I wrote two warrants for aggravated assault for Green, one for [VICTIM #2] and one for [VICTIM #1]. I also advised my supervisors Sergeant Rickert and Lieutenant Williams of the incident. [VICTIM #1] was given a case card and [VICTIM #2] was taken to Navicent Hospital by Community ambulance.
