On Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at approximately 1826 hours, [WITNESS #1] arrived at 111 Thirds St, with his two daughters; [REDACTED BY AGENCY] age 15, and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] age 12 to report that their mother, Crystal Stubbs, and grandmother Ann Carter physically assaulting them.
According to their statements, the incident occurred on the last date at approximately 1800 hours while the children were at home. An argument began between Crystal and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] because Crystal allowed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to stay home to get her hair done, but had not cleaned the house as instructed. The verbal argument escalated into a physical altercation involving the mother and eventually the grandmother.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] reportedly received the majority of the physical contact from her mother, who allegedly choked,dragged,punched, and pulled her by the hair. The grandmother, Ann Carter, was reportedly involved, with allegations that she intentionally kicked the children during the altercation.
During the incident, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was able to send a text message to her father, [WITNESS #1], informing him of what was happening. Following the text message [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and her father spoke on the phone discussing the incident, and him picking them up.
It was on the above date at approximately 1630 hours, [WITNESS #1] picked up the children.
[WITNESS #1] was provided with a departmental email address to submit any supporting documents involving this incident. He submitted two screenshot of text messages, and photographs of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] visible wounds.
Upon the complainants arrival and after gather some preliminary information, I requested to speak with an on call crimes against children investigator. Inv. D Malone responded to the request and requested the case number. I informed him that I would make the initial report available to him which would include any additional documents collected in the process.
Before concluding the case, the complainant requested a deputy back at the residence to collect items for the children, as he would be taking the children home with him. I contacted dispatch and requested a deputy at the incident location on behalf of the complainant. This concluded the case.
The complainant was provided with a case number, and the on call investigator in which I spoke to.
