On October 5th, 2025 at or about 4:14 A.M. I responded to [1800 BLOCK] Swan Drive within Macon-Bibb County Georgia. The call was dispatched as someone shooting outside the complainants room window. The caller also advised that the subject was knocking on the doors and windows with a firearm. The shots reported by the complainant were also detected by Shot Spotter at this location.

Just prior to being dispatched to the call the incident type was up graded to a home invasion. As I responded to the scene I activated my dash camera a few minutes prior to arrival. As I drove up to the scene from Wren Avenue I saw a female subject bent over at the left rear side of a dark color sport utility vehicle parked in the shared driveway of this location with the neighboring apartment. The female looked as if she was being jumped on by a male subject, her clothing was hanging off of her with her nude body exposed.

The male subject who was dressed in dark clothing walked toward the rear of the neighboring apartment [1800 BLOCK] Swan Drive. As I got out and received brief information from the female that the male suspect was getting away I went to follow him into the darkness behind the neighboring apartment. Sgt. Grube was arriving on scene just seconds behind me and started to the opposite side of the building. The subject had turned and was headed back towards me when I rounded the back of the building. The subject was taken into custody and placed in a patrol car.

At this time I began gathering more information into this incident. I met with Ms. [WITNESS #1] the resident at [1700 BLOCK] Swan Drive. The victim identified as Ms. [VICTIM #1] was being treated by responding EMS/Fire Rescue.

Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that the suspect Mr. Demorshawn Denson had been shooting outside her back window, she would point the area out where he was shooting. This area is where six 40 caliber cartridge cases were recovered. She advised that Mr. Denson forced his way into the rear window, and while he was doing this they retreated to another room. She advised that Denson forced his was into this room where he took Ms. [VICTIM #1] from her apartment to the front yard of the apartment. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that Denson had a knife he had taken from her kitchen to attack Ms. [VICTIM #1]. During this incident Ms. [VICTIM #1] received laceration to her right hand, right hip, and right leg. Ms. [VICTIM #1] had also been pulled by her hair and punched with a closed fist.

Crime victim case card given.

The accused did discharge a firearm several time outside [1800 BLOCK] Swan Drive within Macon-Bibb County Georgia. The discharging of the firearm outside the bedroom window placed the occupants in fear. The accused made entry into the apartment through a back room window. The accused made forced entry into another bedroom within the apartment where he took the victim from inside the apartment to outside the apartment.
