On 2-21-2026 I Deputy D. Jones responded to [2600 BLOCK] Jeffersonville Rd in reference to a person cut.
Upon my arrival I made contact with the complainant Ms. [WITNESS #1] and the victim Ms. Simoane Binns sitting in a white SUV parked in front of trailer lot [REDACTED]. Binns was sitting in the passenger seat and was covered in blood with her left arm wrapped up. At that time I applied a tourniquet to her arm due to the amount of blood she was losing. A few moments later fire and EMS arrived on scene to access the victim injuries. She was later loaded into the ambulance and transported to the hospital. The accused suspect Ms. Destiny White was found at lot [REDACTED] by the other responding units and was detained until further investigation.
I spoke with her on scene and she advised me that her and Binns had went downtown and had a few drinks before returning back home. White stated Binns told her that she was having trouble breathing so she asked her would she like for her to call and ambulance. She stated Binns told her “NO”. White stated she called her aunt Ms. [WITNESS #1] over to Binns house which is lot [REDACTED]. She stated once she got there all three of them was sitting in the bedroom and that’s when Binns got upset and wanted both of them to leave her house. White stated her and [WITNESS #1] started laughing and that’ when Binns got up and started swinging on her and punching her in the face. White stated they ended up outside and Binns proceeded to swing at her so that’s when she pulled out the knife and cut her. The knife was collected by Cpl. J. Holmes and will be turned over to the crime lab as evidence.
Binns was transported to the hospital for a shoulder injury but once she is released she will be transported to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Aggravated Assault.
