On 24 October 2025 around 12:30 am, Mrs. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] left her residence [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in Macon, Ga to pick up Mr. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] from work [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. When she left, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], Donovan Hicks (BM[REDACTED BY AGENCY]), [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (BF [REDACTED BY AGENCY]), & [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (BF [REDACTED BY AGENCY]) were up and were told to go to bed, When Mr. & Mrs. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] arrived home, the two girls were in Donovan’s room sleeping on his bed with him.

Mrs. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] called the girls out and had them sleep in another, since the girls didn’t want to sleep in their room. Mrs. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said she “felt uneasy” about her daughters sleeping in bed with [REDACTED BY AGENCY], and while taking [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to school around 8:30 am, later that same day, she told [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that it’s not ok for anyone to touch her either outside or inside the house, to which [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said, “Not outside, but inside the house”.

Mrs. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] continued to ask [REDACTED BY AGENCY] about these occurrences, and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] admitted that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] would put his hand under her pants and touch her both in the front and in the back. When asked if this had happened before, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said “yes” but was uncertain how many times this had happened. Mrs. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said she asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY], “if he had something to tell” her, she said he just started crying. Mrs. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did not say if he ever admitted he had done these things to [REDACTED BY AGENCY], but she said she took his crying as an admission of guilt. Mrs. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] is having Donovan stay with [REDACTED BY AGENCY], Mrs. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who lives at [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

When I, Deputy LeGodais #2640, was dispatched to the Pediatric Hospital at 888 Pine Street to speak with the parents concerning the incident, I was advised that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had confessed that Donovan had been touching her also. Prior to entering the hospital, I contacted the Crimes Against Children on call Investigator, Investigator Medina. I went into the hospital and spoke with both the mother and the father, the father expressed concern for [REDACTED BY AGENCY], saying he “would rather see [REDACTED BY AGENCY] get help, then go to jail.” When I spoke with the mother, she said she didn’t want any of her children to feel like they were not heard or believed.

Before leaving the hospital, I did give the father the victims information packet and told them that Investigator Medina said he would be in contact with the family on Monday, 27 October, to speak with them and set an appointment with a forensic psychologist.
