On October 17, 2025, at approximately 2302 hours, Deputy Morera responded to [3900 BLOCK] Riverside Park Blvd regarding a hit-and-run accident.
Upon arrival, I spoke with [WITNESS #1], who is a Riverstone apartment maintenance man. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated that some of the residents saw Faisal Awan drive straight into apartment [REDACTED], then back out of the wall and far left front window. Once he backed out, he went straight into another parking lot of the complex. Mr. [AWAN]’s vehicle struck [VICTIM #1]’s Ford F150 and [VICTIM #2]’ Honda Civic. Mr. Awan then parked his Toyota Camry in a separate parking lot to avoid damage to the vehicle and building. Mr. Awan then headed into apartment [REDACTED], where he lives.
I went to speak with Mr. Awan and detained him until I confirmed he was the one who did the damage, fled the scene, and failed to report the accident. Upon making contact with him, he immediately confessed and took responsibility. He said that he spoke with a neighboring resident and told them he would take care of the damage before he returned to his apartment. I advised him that he is still responsible for reporting the accident to law enforcement and returning to the scene to provide his information for the accident report. I notified him that he would be under arrest for hit and run for these reasons.
Victim case cards were given, and an accident report was made. Mr. Awan was transported to Bibb County LEC without incident.
[End of Narrative]
