[NARRATIVE #1 on August 01, 2025]
On 8/1/2025 at approximately 0010 hours, I, Corporal Jonah Gordon 2748, responded to 1106 Rocky Creek Rd (Chevron) in reference to persons shot. Dispatch advised two brothers were on scene and were both shot.
I arrived on scene and located two males in front of the Chevron on the sidewalk between the building and a truck backed into a parking space. The males were later identified as [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2]. [VICTIM #1] was standing and appeared to have been shot in his left arm. [VICTIM #2] was laying on the ground and possibly had been shot in the torso. [VICTIM #2] and [VICTIM #1]’s mother, [REDACTED], arrived shortly after I did and provided their identification information.
The Bibb County Fire Department and EMS arrived shortly after and put both [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] on ambulances to be transported to the hospital. I was advised that [VICTIM #1] appeared to have been shot in his right leg and his left arm. [VICTIM #2] appeared to have been shot twice in the torso and once in his buttocks area.
While on scene, dispatch advised another individual went to the hospital who had been shot. Corporal Grooms responded to that location and it was later determined that individual was involved in this incident. He was later identified as Khaleel Taylor.
I spoke to the Chevron store clerk and requested video footage of the incident. He stated he did not know how to work the camera, but he called the manager and someone would come to the scene to pull of video of the incident.
I requested dispatch have a persons crime investigation unit call my phone. Dispatch advised that Inv. Durbin was already enroute to the scene. A short time later, Inv. Durbin responded to the location and I briefed him on the incident.
Upon checking the ground outside, it was found that there were several pools of blood on the ground from one of the gas pumps leading to the vehicle that [VICTIM #2] and [VICTIM #1] were behind when I arrived on scene. There was also numerous shell casings on the ground. Inv. Durbin called for a crime scene unit to respond, and later Inv. Kirkland with Bibb County CSI responded for evidence collection.
[REDACTED] later responded to the location and was eventually able to show myself and Inv. Durbin the footage of the incident. The footage shows at 0002 hours on 8/1/2025, two males begin shooting in the direction of the vehicle that [VICTIM #2] and [VICTIM #1] were found behind. One appears to have a rifle and one appears to have a pistol. After they exchange gunfire, the two males get into a gold car and leave the scene.
I stood by on scene while Inv. Kirkland collected the evidence on scene. After he finished, he left the scene. Prior to me leaving the scene, Inv. Durbin called me and informed me that he met with a party at the hospital and they had thrown two guns into the woods by the dumpster. I went to the wooded area by the store and attempted to locate the firearms. Inv. Durbin and Inv. Kirkland later arrived to assist me in searching. Inv. Kirkland was able to locate one of the pistols, a 9mm Taurus, laying on the ground, up the hill by the store. He later collected it for evidence submission.
The incident was forwarded to Inv. Durbin for further investigation.

[NARRATIVE #2 on August 01, 2025]
On August 1, 2025, I, Corporal Grooms was dispatched to 777 Hemlock St in reference to a person shot.
Upon my arrival, I made contact with Atrium Navicent Police Officer Minchew who was putting up evidence tap around a 2006 Honda Accord silver in color vehicle (Vin: [REDACTED]) that was parked in the emergency room entrance. The vehicle was displaying an improper Georgia plate [REDACTED] that was not registered to the vehicle. The vehicle identification number registered to the license plate did not match the vehicle identification number that was visible through the windshield. There appeared to be a bag that contained suspected marijuana on the passenger seat of the vehicle.
I went inside of the hospital in order to make contact with the driver of the vehicle when the medical staff informed me that the driver was in surgery.
Investigator Durbin was notified and responded to the hospital.
The 2006 Honda Accord silver in color vehicle was towed by Lester’s towing to the Bibb County Sheriff Office Crime Lab at 2654 Houston Ave. I escorted the tow truck to the crime lab.

[NARRATIVE #3 on September 21, 2025]
On September 21, 2025 at 1545 hours I, Sgt. M. Dorough, responded to the area of Bloomfield Rd at Rocky Creek Road in reference to a stolen Ga license plate [REDACTED]. The vehicle was last seen headed westbound on Rocky Creek Road past Robinhood Road.
I drove the area of Rocky Creek Road near Bethesda Ave when I spotted the vehicle backed into a parking spot at 2487 Rocky Creek Road. I checked the tag and confirmed it was the stolen plate but the driver was not in the vehicle. There was a group of guys standing near a grill so I asked who was driving the vehicle, and Khaleel Taylor stated he was.
I asked Khaleel if he knew the tag was stolen and he said no. He stated the car was towed to the Bibb County crime lab due to a shooting on March 2025. He stated he just got the car back about 2 weeks ago. He stated it may have been one of his friends that put it on there.
I obtained his name and dob and the vehicle vin due to the stolen plate. I ran his name through GCIC and showed he had an aggravated assault warrant through Bibb County. He was arrested transported to the Bibb County LEC. I made contact with the owner of the stolen plate and that tag will be returned to his residence.
