On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at approximately 0915 hours, I, Deputy Raines, spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] at 668 Oglethorpe St. in reference to a sex offence.

Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that on Thursday, June 19, 2025, her daughter [REDACTED BY AGENCY] got in trouble for messages on her iPad. She stated that’s when she talked to the youth [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and told her she could tell her anything. That’s when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated to her mother, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (James Lee Moss Sr.) touched her on her legs and private area. I asked when this happened. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated it happened [REDACTED BY AGENCY] 2 years ago. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told me [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had picked her up from school, and Moss had bought food for them and brought it to the [REDACTED BY AGENCY] house. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also stated that it happened again in 2024, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Moss is a registered sex offender.

I had a crime against children investigator to gave me a call. I spoke with Lt. Malone about this incident. I had Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] do a witness statement that will be attached to the report. I gave the victim a pamphlet with the case number and crisis information. report will be sent to Lt. Malone.
