Victim [VICTIM #1] stated the following: On 5/11/2018 at around 8:00 PM during an argument with her husband (James E. Wren) grabbed her around her throat and slammed her against the wall and attempted to kill her by choking her out. Victim stated that she was able to get away from him but he then grabbed her by her hair and started to beat her with her fist repeatedly on her face,stomach,legs and arms. Victim stated that he also punched her in her face and busted her bottom lip and it began to bleed everywhere. Victim stated that the suspects sister and brother-in-law ([REDACTED] and [REDACTED]) called and they told him to stop beating her and that they were the ones who called 911 that night.
Victim stated that when the deputy arrived the suspect (James E. Wren) had pulled her to the side and warned her that she had better not say anything. Victim stated that the deputy left and so did her husband and that she has been in pain and scared since that night. Victim stated that she needed to make a report because she is scared that he may come back and kill her so she called 911 today to do that.
*Injuries visible- busted bottom lip,bruises on both legs and arms, large bruise on the back of the right hand and unclear and raspy voice due to choking.
*Ambulance came to scene and victim did not go to hospital
*Victim assistance offered but refused at this time.
*Warrant will be signed.
