On May 17, 2026, at approximately 20:55 hours I, Deputy M. Jones, was dispatched to [REDACTED] in Macon-Bibb County, GA. The call was in reference to a domestic disturbance.
Per the request of the reporting party, [WITNESS #1], I contacted her via phone. She briefly explained the incident at hand. I made contact with her in person at Rocky Creek Rd at Houston Ave. [WITNESS #1] further explained that her daughter, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] called her and stated that Jarvis Floyd hit her in the face. Jarvis Floyd is the brother of [WITNESS #1] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY]’s uncle. [VICTIM #1] was present and he explained that once he and [WITNESS #1] arrived at [REDACTED] to pick up [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Jarvis assaulted him. [VICTIM #1] testified that Jarvis walked to their vehicle, reached through the open window and slapped him in the face. [VICTIM #1] then exited the vehicle and a fight ensued. [VICTIM #1] stated that he only asked Jarvis why did he hit [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I did not observe any visible injuries I advised these subjects to stay put and wait for my return.
I arrived at [REDACTED] and made contact with [WITNESS #2], [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Jarvis Floyd. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] explained that Jarvis was having a conversation and she interrupted it. Jarvis then threw a plastic cup at her and hit her face. [WITNESS #2], [REDACTED BY AGENCY]’s grandmother, admitted that she witnessed this incident. I did not observe any visible injuries to [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. When I asked for Jarvis’ testimony he refused to speak. I then arrested Jarvis by placing handcuffs on his wrists behind him. The handcuffs were double locked and checked for fit.
I then transported Jarvis to be identified by [WITNESS #1] and [VICTIM #1]. They relocated to [REDACTED] I arrived on scene and explained the details of my findings and charges for Jarvis.
Jarvis complained multiple times that I applied the handcuffs too tight. I had him exit the vehicle, and while adjusting the handcuffs he attempted to flee. I was able to gain control of him and with assistance from Cpl. D. Jones he was arrested again and transported to the Bibb County LEC.
Warrants will be taken.
