On Friday June 28th 2024 at 1131 hours I (Deputy A. Walker #2329) responded to [800 BLOCK] Tenny Avenue Macon Georgia 31201 in reference to a person with a gun.

Upon arrival, I spoke with the complainants identified as [VICTIM #1] (Landlord) and [VICTIM #2]. Both complainant’s stated that John Pleasant was intoxicated and being loud while making accusations that the other tenants in the house were stealing from him. [VICTIM #1] then stated that he noticed Pleasant had a firearm sticking out of his front pants pocket before he walked outside threatening everyone. [VICTIM #2] then stated that Pleasant threatened to kill and shoot her and the other tenants in the house while pointing a firearm at them.

[VICTIM #2] also stated that Pleasant put the firearm in the mailbox at the house across the street prior to law enforcement’s arrival. After gathering all of the information from the complainants I ran Pleasant’s name through dispatch as well as the firearm found inside of the mailbox. Shortly after I was advised by dispatch that Pleasant had a possible warrant out of Monroe County. At this point Pleasant was detained, the handcuffs were checked for fit, and double locked before placing him inside the backseat of my marked patrol car. I advised dispatch to confirm the warrants and shortly after dispatch confirmed that the warrant was valid place a hold and the firearm was reported stolen out of Florida.

Pleasant was then placed under arrest. I provided my beginning mileage to dispatch and transported Pleasant without incident to the Bibb County LEC where he was turned over to the jail staff for booking.

Warrants to be taken.
