On Tuesday April 15, 2025, at 2251 hours, I spoke with victim, [VICTIM #1], in reference to Terroristic Threats. [VICTIM #1] was currently at the Atrium Navicent Emergency Center, but resides at [5400 BLOCK] Houston Rd. Macon, Georgia 31216 Lot [REDACTED] (Oak Grove Mobile Home Park). [VICTIM #1] has been in a relationship with Juan Devencio McAfee for ten years and they both live at the above address. [VICTIM #1] has a pace maker and only has one functioning lung. Juan is currently her caretaker.
[VICTIM #1] stated that Juan is addicted to powder cocaine and an alcoholic. [VICTIM #1] stated that Juan has been up for the past four days and has become very aggressive and mean. [VICTIM #1] told Juan to turn down the music when he had some friends over and Juan told her, “I should beat your a*s for embarrassing me in front of my friends”. Juan started yelling and told [VICTIM #1] if she called the police that, “she would leave in a hearse and he would live in a cop car”. She told Juan she wanted him to leave their home and leave her alone. Juan told her that if she files for eviction, he would, “burn this b*tch to the ground and I hope your inside it”. Juan told her that she would be, “6ft in the ground before this is over”. The incident occurred in front of Juan’s 2-year-old granddaughter.
[VICTIM #1] was in fear for her life and got on her cell phone. Juan thought she was calling the police and came towards her. Her Lab/Pit mix dog was standing between her and Juan. Juan grabbed the 75 lb. dog and slung him around to get him out of the way. The dog sustained a minor cut on his shoulder. [VICTIM #1] told Juan she was calling EMS, not the police. [VICTIM #1] advised me that was all she could think of to get out of the house. She told EMS that she felt like she was having a heart attack in order to get an ambulance there to take her out of the situation. She was transported to Atrium ER and then contacted the Sheriff’s Office.
[VICTIM #1] stated that she does not have a vehicle and Juan’s vehicle was inoperable at the moment. [VICTIM #1] contacted Juan’s family to come and get the little girl from the house. She did not want the child to see her grandfather get arrested or be traumatized any further from his actions.
[VICTIM #1] advised she has had to call the Sheriff’s Office on several occasions regarding Juan Devencio McAfee behavior. Juan was arrested in 2023 for flipping over the washing machine and the responding deputies had to tase him to be able to arrest him. [VICTIM #1] stated that Juan has never physically assaulted her, but his actions and threats have become worse each time.
[VICTIM #1] said that he is currently on probation and he is able to pass his drug test by doubling his diabetic medication. Juan will leave the probation office and go straight to the “pharmacy” (that’s what he calls it) to obtain more cocaine. [VICTIM #1] is hoping to stay at the hospital tonight and requests warrants to be issued, but she is in fear that he will hurt her or kill her.
I gave her the case number and the number to the crisis safe house. I also advised her of getting a TPO against her boyfriend. The probation officer’s phone number is [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and is possibly Williams or Wilson, but she wasn’t sure of the name.
Warrants will be obtained.
