On 1/14/26 at 1621 hrs, I, Corporal J. Williams #2252, with the assistance of Lt. D. Inzar, answered a call at 3755 Bloomfield Dr, in the area of Suite 4, 5A, & 5B, in reference to multiple calls about a Person with a Gun. A black male subject, making threats to kill everyone outside and pointing an assault rifle at another male named [VICTIM #1].
Upon arrival, we noticed a black male suspect, later identified as Keandre Jamario Gibbs (OLN [REDACTED]), jumping into a black Nissan Altima. As Lt. Inzar pulled up behind Gibbs, he attempted to leave the scene. Gibbs movement was ceased as I stopped in front of his car. Gibbs was given verbal commands to put the car in park and switch off. He failed to comply by easing his foot off the brake, allowing the car to continue rolling away.
Based on the previous calls about Gibbs being armed with an assault rifle, being engaged in an aggressive argument in public, and threatening the lives of others, we pulled our firearms for compliance and safety. Gibbs was slow to comply. Still, I was able to place handcuffs on him and remove him from the vehicle. Gibbs had 1 live round, lying on his pants that matched the rounds in the weapon. The assault rifle, a black and wood Maadi RML semi-automatic rifle, serial #ESH00423, was sitting within reach on the back seat. The gun was loaded. It was cleared and secured in my lockbox in my patrol unit.
The witness, [WITNESS #1], stated that she was sitting in front of Champs footwear, inside her vehicle, when she heard the extremely loud argument taking place. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that she saw Gibbs pull the rifle at least twice and point it at [VICTIM #1] for extended periods of time, while stating to [VICTIM #1] that he would kill him. It also appeared that he may have been live on social media. [WITNESS #1] stated Gibbs then stood on the trunk of the Altima and pulled the gun out again.
The witness and security officer, [WITNESS #2], stated that he was inside suite 5A (Rent-A-Center) when he and other employees heard the commotion. With a clear view from inside, Gibbs was seen going to his vehicle and retrieving the assault rifle. [WITNESS #2] stated that he saw Gibbs rack (load) the weapon and proceed into the barbershop. [WITNESS #2] also stated they saw Gibbs appear to be going live on his cellphone during the time he was aiming the rifle at [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #2] advised that they all heard Gibbs state that he would kill [VICTIM #1] and anyone else.
[VICTIM #1] stated that the argument started when he and Gibbs’ brother (unknown) exchanged words about 2 days prior. Gibbs pulled up to his job today in an aggressive manner, yelling and irate, wanting to know why he was arguing with his brother. [VICTIM #1] advised that he told Gibbs to leave 2 to 3 times, but he wouldn’t leave. [VICTIM #1] was noticed talking to someone standing in front of Rent-A-Center, telling them this could have ended with someone getting shot.
Gibbs was arrested on charges of Aggravated Assault and Terroristic Threats. He was transported to the Bibb County Jail.
