On Monday, May 25th, 2026, I (Sergeant M. Ha #2107) responded to [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon my arrival, I spoke with [VICTIM #1] who stated that her child ([REDACTED BY AGENCY])’s father (Kendrick Freeman Sr.) had assaulted her, damaged her properties, took her vehicle keys from the key ring, assaulted one of her other family member ([REDACTED BY AGENCY]), and left the scene. She advised that her family members are on [REDACTED] at the corner house on the porch. I had Corporal S. Vonderhuevel check the address out for the Freeman Sr.
[VICTIM #1] stated that she was taking a shower and got out. She stated that Freeman Sr. started arguing over a black and mild cigar. [VICTIM #1] stated that he punched her with a closed fist, striking her left cheek and left a black mark on her face. She also stated that Freeman Sr had punched a hole in the wall near the bathroom as well as damaged the speaker system, completely destroying the item. Before Freeman Sr. left the apartment he had taken the vehicle keys that belonged to [VICTIM #1], depriving her the usage of her vehicle. He left the apartment walking. She advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and her other kids ran after him to stop him from leaving the scene with her vehicle keys. In the process, he struck [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in her face.
[VICTIM #1] advised that the only child that they have together is [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. She advised that she has four other children ([REDACTED BY AGENCY]) in the apartment during the altercation. She advised that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was just visiting over the Memorial Day Holiday.
Corporal Vonderhuevel advised that he got Freeman in custody at the corner of [REDACTED]. I went to him and recovered [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle key. I took custody of Freeman Sr. and transported him to Bibb County LEC with the following charges of Battery-FV, Simple Battery, Criminal Damage-FV, Criminal Trespass-FV, Cruelty to Children 3rd Degree-FV (6 counts), Cruelty to Children 2nd Degree, theft by taking. [VICTIM #1] was provided with the victim’s case brochure.
