On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at approximately 1340 hours, I, Corporal S. Howard was dispatched to the Travel Lodge located at 4952 Romeiser Dr about a domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, I spoke with Kierra Harris, who walked up to my car, and stated, she was afraid for her life, and that she called the police yesterday, but no one made contact with her. She said her boyfriend, of 10 years [REDACTED], had shot at her and had bleached all her clothes, which cost about $500.00, while they were in the room. She said he was mad at her after she came back in his car, which she used to do hair, because she was gone and did not make enough money.
At first, when I asked her which room she was in, she said that she couldn’t remember. I called dispatch to see if a call came through, and one did yesterday around 2304 hours from the front desk. Kierra Harris said she had proof that he shot at her and showed me a picture in her phone where the bullet went through the headboard in the room, then she showed me a video of her clothes that were bleached. She did advise that he was arrested in Warner Robins and that she has a no-violent-contact order against him.
I called the Domestic Violence Investigator, Madonna Baker, to see if they could help her get a bed through the crisis line, which they found her one, but she was advised that she needed to call them, so I gave her the number. I told her to get in my car because she kept shaking and looking around.
While headed to the front to see which room she was in, she pointed out room [REDACTED]. I went inside and smelled a strong odor of bleach. That’s when she showed me her clothes sitting by the door. I also noticed the bed was pulled back, and this is when she showed me where the bullet went through the headboard.
I asked her to tell me again what happened and she stated, [REDACTED] was standing in the door way pacing back and forth yelling at her and that she was just shaking her head yes this is when he pushed her on the bed, then pulled out a black gun and shot at her, but it missed her and hit the headboard this is when she ran out of the room screaming. I did see an entry, but did not recover a shell casing.
I spoke to the clerk at the front desk, who stated he heard a gunshot and yelling last night, but due to the rain, he did not know what was going on.
An informational brochure was given. I advised her to call the crisis line to get a bed, and told her they could help her get a restraining order. Lieutenant Kosmoski was notified. warrants will be sought.
