On 1/29/2025 Ms. [WITNESS #1] came into the Bibb Sheriff’s Office Telephone Reporting Unit located at 111 Third Street Macon, Ga. She stated that someone had been writing checks on the account of the Disabled American Veterans. She said that she had been notified that some checks were out of sequence by the assistant admin.
Upon further review she noticed that there were five checks that had been written by someone named Kristen Corbett. The total amount was $2,013.50 Ms. [WITNESS #1] said that they had taken this up with the Truist Bank where the account is located. She was informed to come and have a report done at the Sheriff’s Office.
