On 05-25-2026 I was dispatched to 580 Cherry St. in reference to a fight. Upon arrival I met with the staff of Parish Restaurant. They brought me to [VICTIM #1] inside the restaurant.
Everyone was screaming that a guy punched [VICTIM #1] and she hit her head on the ground. I tried to talk to [VICTIM #1] but she was not responding with a sound mind. I called for a ambulance to come get [VICTIM #1]. I Then talked to [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated [VICTIM #1] called him and a few other friends to celebrate her Birthday with her at Parish. [WITNESS #1] stated Ladairius Thomas showed up. [WITNESS #1] stated he asked [VICTIM #1] did she invite Mr. Thomas and she responded no. [WITNESS #1] stated he knew Mr. Thomas had been stalking [VICTIM #1] but he tried to be cool because it was [VICTIM #1] Birthday. [WITNESS #1] stated [VICTIM #1] had a few drinks and then decided to leave. [WITNESS #1] stated Mr. Thomas tried to take [VICTIM #1] with him back to his Tattoo shop but she did not want to go. [WITNESS #1] stated Mr. Thomas picked [VICTIM #1] up and tried to take her but he stopped him. [WITNESS #1] stated that’s when he dropped [VICTIM #1] and started fighting him and everyone. [WITNESS #1] stated this is when he hit [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated after the fight he took [VICTIM #1]’s phone and went into the downtown alleyway.
[VICTIM #1] phone was pinging in the alleyway of downtown but no one could find it. [WITNESS #2] showed up while I was talking to [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #2] stated a man called LaLa (Mr. Thomas nickname) called him from [VICTIM #1] phone and told him to come to Cherry St. and check on [VICTIM #1]. I answered another call and came back to Cherry St. to check the area. A group flagged me down and said Mr. Thomas went back to the Tattoo Shop. I walked to the door and it was open. As I was about to enter Mr. Thomas brother exited the Shop saying he was closing up. I asked if anyone was in there he said no. I told him I was told otherwise and I am about to search the shop. When I entered I yelled Sheriff Office and Mr. Thomas came around the corner and I arrested him. Some of [VICTIM #1]’s family showed up and said [VICTIM #1] phone was pinging at the shop now. We where unable to find it. Mr. Thomas was taken to the LEC.
