On 11-25-2025 I Deputy D. Jones responded to [3000 BLOCK] Rice Cir in reference to a person cut.

Upon my arrival I made contact with male victim [VICTIM #1] lying on the bathroom floor with a stab wound to lower back on his left side. He was also suffered a stab wound to his right hand near his fingers. [VICTIM #1] stated that him and his kids mother got into a verbal argument about how long his daughter was gone stay with him.

He stated they were going back and forth over the phone before the accused suspect Ms. Ny’Asia Jones arrived at [3000 BLOCK] Rice Cir. He stated he was inside the house when Jones arrived. He stated when she walked in the verbal argument continued. He stated a few moments later that’s when things turned physical. At some point during that physical altercation Jones pulled out a knife and stabbed him with it.

[VICTIM #1] stated that both of their younger kids and his little brother was present and in the living room when the incident took place. When I arrived on scene Jones was no longer on scene. I made contact with her via phone and asked her what took place between her and [VICTIM #1]. She stated when she got there her little girl [REDACTED BY AGENCY] ran up too her. She stated that she picked her up and that’s when [VICTIM #1] tired to get the little girl back from her.

She stated things things began to get physical she stated [VICTIM #1] started beating her outside and that’s when she picked up something off the ground to defend herself with. I asked Jones would she like to meet with me so that I could get a statement from her and to turn herself in she advised that she would and hung up the phone in my face.

At this time Jones is facing charges of Aggravated Assault and 3 counts of Cruelty to children in 3rd degree. I made contact with persons investigator Rohbach and gave him the details of the incident.
