On Monday, 10/20/25, at approximately 16:59 hours, I, Deputy J. Hubbard #2359, was dispatched to the residence of [VICTIM #1], located at [3800 BLOCK] Log Cabin Dr. Apt [REDACTED]. The call was in reference to a person being cut off in the middle of a possible home invasion.

As I arrived on the scene, I made contact with Mr. [VICTIM #1], who I witnessed had been involved in a physical incident, resulting in him bleeding from the right eye. When speaking with Mr. [VICTIM #1], he stated that his ex-wife, Taylor Childress (possibly known as Presley Hayes), and her new boyfriend, Mr. Ricky Harrington, had come to his residence and assaulted him.

The couple had come to Mr. [VICTIM #1]’ residence and forced their way in after Mrs. Childress knocked on the door. As Mr. [VICTIM #1] was opening the door, Mr.Harrington pushed his way into the residence, knocking Mr. [VICTIM #1] to the ground, and then began hitting him repeatedly in the head with brass knuckles. While Mr. [VICTIM #1] was on the ground, Mrs. Childress witnessed that he was starting to have an asthmatic attack, so she went and brought Mr. [VICTIM #1] his inhaler.

At that time, the couple dragged Mr. [VICTIM #1] to the kitchen, where they continued beating Mr. [VICTIM #1]. During this time, Mrs. Childress grabbed a knife from the kitchen counter and attempted to cut Mr. [VICTIM #1], who appeared to be on the back of the arm. During the physical altercation, the couple forced Mr. [VICTIM #1] to sign a piece of paperwork saying that he would pay the full amount for the divorce and not ask for anything from it. After the couple forced Mr. [VICTIM #1] to sign the paper, they continued to trash Mr. [VICTIM #1]’s apartment, broke his phone, stole both sets of car keys, one of which had his apartment key on it, and stole $107 from Mr. [VICTIM #1]. When fleeing the scene, they stated that if you call the police, we will have someone come over here and kill you.

After speaking with Mr. [VICTIM #1], I made contact with the leasing office in reference to watching video footage possibly showing the incident. While watching the video, I witnessed Mr. Harrington and Mrs. Childress arrive at Mr. [VICTIM #1]’ residence, when Mr. [VICTIM #1], you see the couple push their way in and then close the door. When watching the video footage, it was brought to my attention that Mr. [VICTIM #1] had refused EMS, but you clearly see an abrasion to the back left shoulder and a red cut mark to the back right shoulder.

After gathering all the information, I notified dispatch to have the on-call person investigator give me a call. Once Sergeant T. Moss contacted me, I informed him of the current status of the case. In reference to this case, warrants will be taken out for Mr. Harrington and Mrs. Childress.
