On August 25, 2025, I, Sgt. Craig Lewis, responded to [2300 BLOCK] Parker Avenue Apartment [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic dispute with a gun being fired.
Upon arrival, I met with Mr. [VICTIM #1]. He stated that he and his fiancée, Princess Lott, had been arguing all day over a cat being on his pillows. [VICTIM #1] said that he then went downstairs to avoid further arguing with Lott. He stated that Lott then came down the stairs after him and pepper-sprayed him. [VICTIM #1] stated that he then left for work and was later picked up by Lott to return home without any issue. [VICTIM #1] noted that he and his fiancée began to argue more about the problem. [VICTIM #1] stated that Lott went outside and that the door had locked. He said that the next thing he knew, he heard a gunshot and saw that Lott had shot the gun through the back door into the residence.
I then spoke with Ms. [WITNESS #1]. She advised the same story as [VICTIM #1]. She stated that she saw Lott shoot the door, and when the back door came open, that the gun was pointed in her direction.
It was at this time that Lott came outside. Lott stated that she and her fiancé had gotten into a fight about the act being on [VICTIM #1]’s pillow. She noted that [VICTIM #1] choked her and pushed her on the bed. Lott stated that she had been abused before and was not going to take it, so she went downstairs and maced [VICTIM #1]. She noted that her fiancé then left for work. Lott stated that tonight she went outside, and when she tried to go back into her apartment, the door was locked. Lott noted that she was upset and then shot her gun through the door so she could get inside. Lott then reached through the glass, cutting her hand to make entry into the house. Lott stated that her child was upset about the situation and made comments to her about not shooting him. Lott advised deputies that she threw the gun after she fired it.
Lott was then placed in custody. I then went and looked at the back door and could see that the door had been shot through. I was able to collect a single 9MM shell casing and will turn it into the crime lab. De. Hubbard and I searched the area and could not locate the firearm. Lt. Purnell was notified of this event.
