On May 4, 2025, at approximately 1638 hours, I, Sgt. George Witherspoon, responded to Piedmont-Macon North Hospital in reference to a possible domestic assault.

Upon arrival, I made contact with Ms. [VICTIM #1], who was in one of the hospital’s exam rooms. She reported that on May 3, 2025, at approximately 2152 hours, she was assaulted by Mr. Quantavious West, the father of her unborn child. The alleged assault occurred at Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s residence, located at [3800 BLOCK] Log Cabin Drive, Apt.# [REDACTED], Green Meadows Apartments. She stated that although she is currently pregnant with Mr. West’s child, they have been separated for several months. Ms. [VICTIM #1] claims Mr. West has continued to harass her both at her home and workplace, attempting to rekindle their relationship. Tensions have reportedly escalated due to her living arrangement with her other child’s father. Although she is not in a relationship with that child’s father, Mr. West does not believe this and has become increasingly, insecure and confrontational.

On May 3rd, at approximately 1700 hours, Mr. West arrived at Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s residence accompanied by an unidentified individual wearing a ski mask. He appeared intoxicated and made verbal threats toward her ex-boyfriend, claiming the masked individual was armed. Due to his comments and drunken behavior, Ms. [VICTIM #1] called 911. Mr. West left the area temporarily but returned soon after. While waiting outside for law enforcement to arrive, Ms. [VICTIM #1] said Mr. West continued making threats and insults regarding her and her ex-boyfriend. She attempted to record the interaction, and provided video evidence for review. In one of the videos, Mr. West can be heard daring her to call law enforcement. Mr. West tells her they will “play it her way, since she thinks she can’t get touched”. He then tells her to call her other child’s father, “because what he gone do…except get killed”.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] called dispatch again, as Mr. West’s behavior escalated. When he kept attempting to push past her into the residence, she managed to shut the door, which infuriated him further. Mr. West then began banging on the door, eventually kicking it with such force that the wooden frame split and one hinge detached. Mr. West then forcibly entered the apartment. Ms. [VICTIM #1] was holding her one-year-old daughter, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], when he entered. Mr. West, still holding an open alcohol container, threw it at her, striking both her and the child and splashing them with beer. He then physically assaulted Ms. [VICTIM #1], as she held onto her child, pinning her against a wall. Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s four-year old, son, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], was also present and both, children were reportedly crying as they witnessed the assault.

Her mother, [WITNESS #1] heard the disturbance and came downstairs. Ms. [VICTIM #1] handed the children to her mother for their safety. Mr. West reportedly made threats and engage in a shouting match with [WITNESS #1] before she retreated up the steps with the children, as Mr. West continued his attack. Mr. West reportedly pressed his forearm into Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s neck, restricting her breathing to the point that she could not. They fell to the floor next to the steps. Ms. [VICTIM #1] says she attempted to get to her feet and during the struggle, he used both hands to apply pressure to her stomach, pushing her down violently and allegedly stating he wanted her to lose the baby. He then dragged her by her hair and bonnet from the residence—face first, through mud, grass, and across the paved parking lot.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] managed to break free and reach a neighbor’s door and pounded on it for help. Mr. West followed, dragging her away by her hair once again. The neighbor opened the door and yelled for him to let her go. Eventually, Ms. [VICTIM #1] was able to free herself and Mr. West fled the scene. Ms. [VICTIM #1] later transported herself to the hospital out of concern for her unborn child. She stated this was the first time Mr. West had been physically violent, though she now fears for her safety based on his behavior. She also reported that Mr. West had shown up at her workplace, just hours after the attack in an attempt to locate her. According to her co-workers, he smirked while asking if she had shown up for work. Ms. [VICTIM #1] was left in the care of medical personnel. She was issued a case card and advised to contact Crisis Safe House and seek a temporary restraining order. A bolo was also issued and warrants will be sought for Mr. West’s arrest.

This case remains under investigation.
