On the listed date and time, I Deputy Cotton responded [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in reference a rape case.

Upon my arrival I made contact with the listed reporting parties and the victim [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] initially appeared to be saddened by the incident and crying. After several minutes of small talk Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] started speaking on the rape incident with me. Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised that a black male by the name of Robert picked her up [REDACTED BY AGENCY] the prior date late that night and advised to her that he had a place to stay overnight.

Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then voluntarily got into his vehicle and left the scene. Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then went to his residence on Duncan Ave in a dead end. Shortly thereafter she advised that Robert rolled four marijuana joints and had multiple beers for her to drink. Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised that she consumed around three beers and smoked marijuana. She then started feeling funny after she smoked the marijuana.

The marijuana then caused her to pass out. When she awoke she discovered that Robert was on top of her having unconsensual and unprotected sex. She advised Robert to get off of her, he refused, held hands down and advised that he owned her. Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised that she began kicking and screaming at that point. Robert finally got up and told her to put her clothes back on.

This date around 1930 Robert returned Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] back [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and left. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised that she witnessed Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] return [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in a black vehicle and overheard Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] tell other witnesses that she had been raped and drugged. Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then called the police and the minister Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised that on the prior date around 1430 hours she was shopping at Walgreens and noticed that Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was in a dark colored vehicle with a unknown man that picked her [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

The unknown male then asked Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] if she needed a room after turning down the room the wrote the tag number of [REDACTED] down and left. She also advised that a black female occupied the vehicle also. Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised that she observed the unknown male bring Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] back [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and was told by Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that she had been raped and drugged. Sgt Purcell was called to the scene.

He then notified Investigator Merriweather and a ambulance to respond. Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was transported to Navicent Health and was seen by [REDACTED], the sexual assault nurse examiner. A sexual assault evidence collection kit was produced and turned in to the crime lab. All further investigation was turned over to the Investigator Merrriweather and all evidence was turned in to the crime lab. Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] has changed her story several times and according to Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY], Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] suffers from bipolar schizophrenia.
