On 11-14-2025 I Deputy D. Jones responded to I16 WB near I75 NB in reference to a traffic accident with injuries.
Upon my arrival I made contact with driver Ms. [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that they were on the interstate when they were rear ended by another driver. She stated the driver of the other vehicle who was later identified as Ms. Sarah Williams went around her and left the scene. A female passenger that were in the car with [VICTIM #1] was able to get a picture of the Williams tag. I ran that tag and was able to get an address to that vehicle which came back to [1300 BLOCK] Rocky Creek Rd. EMS arrived on scene and checked the occupants inside of the vehicle. They declined EMS and was provided with a report number.
I made contact with Williams and explained to her why I was at her resident. I spoke with her and she advised me that when she rear ended the other vehicle the occupants in the other vehicle was waving her around to go. At that time she was placed under arrest and charged with hit and run. The vehicle she was driving at the time was impounded by M&M Towing.
