I Sgt Wallace was called to [1000 BLOCK] Hall St in reference to a fight. On the way there I was advised somebody was shot. When I arrived I walked up to the house and Ms [WITNESS #1] walked out saying he is in there. When I looked inside I saw a black male laying on the ground in the hallway unresponsive with what looked like one gun shot wound to the back. EMS had arrived afterwards and stated that the male was deceased. Inv Durbin and crime lab was called. The witness stated a group of males were in front of the house fighting and then they start shooting. One of the males ([REDACTED]) tried to go back in the house but was shot in the back in the door way. The coroner was also on scene.
